"My experience at Costa Bahía Hotel Paseo Caribe was very disappointing.
I stayed in a suite that, while offering an impressive view, was clearly poorly maintained. During our stay, my wife suffered a cut on her leg caused by an exposed and damaged metal support on the bed frame. The injury was not deep, but there was visible bleeding, which is unacceptable in a hotel environment.
What was most concerning was not only the incident itself, but the hotel’s lack of professionalism in handling it:
* The furniture was in poor condition
* The “repair” was improvised using tape
* There was no follow-up, concern, or apology from staff
After the incident, I went to the front desk and was only given bandages and alcohol. We never received a formal apology or any further assistance.
I also attempted to contact the hotel by email afterward and received no response.
It’s unfortunate, because the location and view are excellent, but the lack of maintenance and poor customer service make it impossible for me to recommend this place."
