Good cliffside hotel with sweeping views of the town and lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped with luggage down the steep winding steps. The restaurant served fresh, delicious food, and the lakeside path made it easy to walk to town without needing a tuk‑tuk. A convenient and memorable stay.

Spacious, quiet room with a beautiful view. The hotel restaurant has one of the best settings in San Juan, and we really enjoyed the food. Service was very courteous. Convenient path to San Juan town, plus the hotel has its own pier for boat access. Free kayaks for guests were a great bonus.

Only good thing was our room was clean and the location good. Breakfast was edible but even rating it good would be a giant stretch. No screens on our window which they said they would provide and never did. Lots of bugs. And then to top it off overcharged us on our rooms. There are other options I would choose next time.

We found the property to be quite loud throughout the entire night. The window in our room was only wood shutters (no glass) and there was much road noise, honking horns, dogs barking and fireworks. Additionally, our room was up VERY steep stairs (approx. 200) with limited handrails. This wasn’t advertised or mentioned when we made the reservation or checked in. We are in our mid 50’s and in decent shape and struggled with these steps, not safe for children. The breakfast that was included was delicious and all the staff was friendly and courteous.
