"Unit is very outdated. Microwave was old and lots of rust. Rust was flaking off. Coffee machine also outdated with real old Coffee pouches. Floor rug was old and torn. TV was old with no cable not working. Cracked heads and homeless hanging outside. Neighboring hookers greeting me every time I walked out. Furniture had stains, dressers with no knots. Pictures on the website are deceiving."

"Captain's Inn at Moss Landing: What a Delightful find on Orbitz, the "last room" they claimed, the Sanctuary, out front with view of the river/ slough, with the ocean and its sounds just beyond the berm, perfect for we bird lovers. But in all honesty, any of their rooms are probably "the best", I'm sure! Every detail was thoughtful, SO comfortable: the high King bed with luxurious bedding, gas fireplace, larger multi-headed shower, nice bathrobes, even TWO suitcase racks... and the wall-of-windows view. The kitchen dining area in the main house was better than expected, with some bonus amenities. We enjoyed this Inn and tiny quiet Moss Landing very much. HOW to enter this property! My main frustration, again, is with Orbitz, as after reading the Congratulations! for making our reservation, we did not see their additional 3-4 emails about HOW to enter this property. Upon arrival, we had to call the number found on a sign, which hooray! was answered by a live person. Frustrating that we had to give all our same info to him, which Orbitz already has! We don't have to do that in any hotel! The gentleman was very patient, and finally we had the Codes to the Public areas and to our room. And my, what a room! Worth it!"

"This is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We were given an email address to discuss our dissatisfaction with the manager and they have not returned our emails. Garbage and filth in the room from previous travelers, mold in the sinks, tub, windows. Gaps around the broken door. COCKROACHES in the bathroom in the middle of the night! Trash around the property- run down amenities. Power turning off and on all night. The “pool” was being dominated by a private party that appeared to live there. AVOID THIS HOTEL!"
