San Lorenzo de El Escorial Holidays

If you're travelling on a budget I would recommend this accommodation. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, though the room was very small - just enough room for a single bed and very small bedside table ... but it did have a TV. The shared bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and good water pressure, though the shower cubicle is very small. As a lone traveller I felt safe there (5th floor and plenty of locked doors). My only gripe with the room was that it had no window to the outside - there was a 'window' which opened to the stairwell/lift and there was a lot of noise from this area until quite late at night. The location is good - a 5-10 minute walk to Gran Via, about 20 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor - with quite a few places to eat and small shops for snacks and beverages close by. Staff were friendly, though I didn't really require their services as only there for a few days.

The beautiful building, quite and comfortable rooms with great view to La Gran Via and Callao area.

Everything was great! Staff was helpful! We were comfortable. However, our bathroom was only cleaned once and the room was hot. Everything else was great

Hotel was great! Very clean and modern. Short ride to/from the Chamartin train station and the airport. Staff was lovely. Great breakfast buffet. Highly recommend all around
