"This hotel was such a great find in San Miguel de Allende. The location couldn’t have been better—I was able to walk everywhere, which made the whole trip feel easy and relaxed. The front desk concierge team truly stood out. They were incredibly friendly and gave some of the best recommendations I received during my stay. They also took care of my airport transfers, which made everything seamless from start to finish. My room was large, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. I loved the little nightly touch of sweet treats—it was such a thoughtful detail. The rooftop bar and restaurant was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. I would absolutely stay here again."

"It was an ok stay. Booked during off season so price was very reasonable. Probably would not stay at regular price. Few windows for viewing but made up by nice rooftop with small pool. Staff except a few were apathetic about our staying there. Breakfast was so basic with watered down coffee and juice and no black tea and cheap herbal teas. Desayuno señora was muy simpático y accommodating. Guys helpful with room and luggage needs. Would try other places next time but their location was pretty good. "

"This is the second time we stayed here, different name the first time. This time under the Crisol name the property itself is nice, the staff, well the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing or saying. Always got different information for the same questions and prices were always different. Hotel staff were not very friendly and at times very rude. The Restaurant at both locations was fantastic food and drink. We usually go to San Miguel about every year to two years and don’t really know if we will stay here again. One last thing, we had to put a deposit on the room and before we checked out they literally went and checked the room then came back and said we would get the deposit back in 5 days. I thought it was kinda petty but whatever. "

"The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the middle of everything, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It’s definitely one of the biggest highlights of staying here. The staff also stood out in a positive way, everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever needed. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. One inconvenience was having to request a hair dryer or clothing iron each time and leave an ID until returning it. It would be much more convenient if these items were readily available in the room. Additionally, the cleanliness could be better, the room would benefit from a more thorough, deep cleaning. The room itself also feels a bit worn and could use some remodeling, as there were broken tiles on both the floor and walls. Overall, while the location and staff make for a pleasant stay, improvements in room upkeep and amenities would greatly enhance the experience."

"Rooms were spacious and cleaned, beds are comfortable and the patios and pool were also in great condition. My kids loved it."

"Property is very nice, clean and staff especially Andres was extremely helpful and friendly! We stayed in room #7 it had a skylight so we got some daylight in the room during the day and wasn’t so dark. The showers ceiling was peeling off & was turning moldy, it had no ventilation only a small window for which couldn’t be opened much because of privacy (room was next to the reception area). Room was stuffy had no windows except for the one in the bathroom, we kept the fan on for most of the time. When booked we overlooked that the property did NOT have AC, luckily it didn’t get too hot however it did rain making it very humid. Good location 3 minute walk to El Mirador and Bus stop was across the street paid 10 pesos to El Centro a 5 minute drive. "
