All as advertised, with a very responsive host and a quiet residential location. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the morning croissants left at the door each day were a lovely touch. The only major downside was the soundproofing, which was unfortunately quite poor. Our bed was against the wall shared with the neighbouring room’s bathroom, and you could hear absolutely everything, especially during the night. That really affected the overall comfort of the stay. I wouldn’t recommend Room 4 specifically, as that was the room we stayed in, though I can’t say whether the soundproofing issue is the same throughout the property.

A very well maintained hotel. An excellent pool. Incredibly helpful staff even though we speak very limited Italian and an exceptional breakfast.

It’s a really beautiful hotel. Great staff, great food, AC works, beautiful spa. It’s in central place but not in the midst of all the chaos at the same time!

Thalya Luxury rooms lives up to its name, the space feels luxurious, with a spacious room tastefully furnished and a bathroom that looks like a spa. It’s well located, just a few minutes walk from the Siracusa train station and bus station, and ~15-20 min walk to the Ortigia town center. The manager and staff are very nice and hospitable. The only drawback is that the shower water takes a long time to heat up. Otherwise, had a very comfortable stay.
