The hotel is a special property located about 4 miles outside of Verona. It makes sense to have a car.The setting is elegant country villa set in the middle of vineyards in the Valpolicella region. Numerous wineries and trattorias are minutes away. The front desk staff as well as Daniel, the manager were extremely helpful with information about the area.The rooms were comfortable with lots of atmosphere. Worth a return trip. !

Authentic with personal touch!
We had a wonderful time. Derek and Stephan made our anniversary trip very special. All of the staff was exceptional. The location is perfect for exploring the wine region of Valpolicella. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Dinner was amazing. Breakfast was a typical Italian and fresh. We would definitely recommend.

Excellent Stay at Villa del Quar
This hotel is very special and fully recommended. It has an excellent restaurant and wine produced on the property is exceptional. Gardens are lovely with a super swimming pool too.

Lovely, just lovely.
Lovely boutique hotel in a lovely location. Everyone, and I mean everyone in this hotel treats you like you are their personal guest, like you are staying in a friend's house. The service is impeccable, the food was amazing, the view breathtaking. There was a small wedding there during our stay. I got an email from the hotel manager when we booked, welcoming us, giving us some information about the hotel and offering to make arrangements for our transfer to the hotel, which resulted in us meeting the most amazing tour guide ever. The pool was so welcoming during the hot days. They have wine tasting for the wines made by the property's grapes. I could go on for days. We were so happy, we are going back, 100%

A return visit to this lovely hotel,set amongst the vineyards.We went into Verona a couple of times,very easy access to a beautiful city.Staff and owner are incredibly friendly and eager to help.

A comfortable two night stay
A very comfortable four star hotel. Staff were polite and attentive. The hotel definitely felt understaffed. On our first day by the pool, we had to get our own cushions for the sunbeds and towels as there was no member of staff anywhere to be seen. We were given two very good recommendations for local restaurants. The hotel restaurant was very expensive and food choice difficult for us. Sadly there was no bar menu which we would have preferred. A lovely hotel in the middle of a beautiful wine growing a area.

We loved our stay here!
Beautiful Hotel, We met the owner and he had re-stored this old historic home. Wines on menu are pricy in my opinion. We would stay here again! w

Great stay
A hidden pearl just outside Verona, great retreat, quiet surroundings and in the middle of the wine district. Service was really great and personnel were all friendly.

Лучший выбор в Вероне. Идеальное соотношение цена/качество. Яйца от домашних кур на завтраке, качественный вкусный кофе и очень хорошее обслуживание получаете в добавок к хорошему настроению на целый день.

Nicht empfehlenswert!
Die Hotelinfrastruktur ist mittelmässig, entspricht jedoch in keiner Weise einem 5-Sterne Hotel. Allerhöchstens Mittelklasse. Das Frühstück ist zwar relativ umfangreich jedoch lieblos. Die Küche (wir haben am Abend einmal gegessen) war die reinste Katastrophe! Keine Ahnung wer am Herd stand. Wahrscheinlich der Liftboy. Eiskalte Teller, geschmorte Kalbsbäckchen für die man ein Steakmesser benötigte, nicht abgeschmeckt und miserabel kombiniert. Wir können das Haus in kleinster Weise weiter empfehlen. Der Preis ist eine Frecheit. Jede Jegendherberge bietet viel mehr Qualität!

Utmärkt och rent Hotel
Fantastiskt rustikt Hotel med utmärkt service. Personalen var fenomenal: framförallt Luca som kanske jobbade lite för mycket då han verkade vara där 24/7. Litet litet problem med myror i badrummet, men det kan man inte annat än att vänta med 600 år gammal ursprungs-byggnad.

En deilig oase
Deilige store rom, gode senger. Delikate bad. Vennlig og høflig stab. Strålende mat og godt vinutvalg. Fin hage med flott basseng og god barservice. Stille og rolige omgivelser. Godt utgangspunkt for opera i Verona, og besøk til byer i området. Dyrt.

Perfekter Aufenthalt. Unaufdringlicher, aber sehr guter Service. Einzig die nicht asphaltierte Zugangsstrasse mit den Schlaglöchern sollte gelegentlich ausgebessert werden; es kommen ja nicht alle Gäste per Helikopter...

Dringend zu renovieren
Wir waren an einem Wochenende praktisch die einzigen Gäste, das Hotel hat sicher vor Jahrzehnten wesentlich bessere Zeiten gesehen. Nachdem wir zur Begrüßung zwei Gläser Prosecco ( 0,1) für 10,- in gesprungenen Gläsern und einen verschrumpelten Toast für 20,- erhielten, zogen wir es vor, den anfänglich für Samstagabend reservierten Tisch im angeblichen Sternerestaurant zu stornieren und in einer nahegelegenen Osteria zu essen. Bei der Rückkehr stellten wir fest, dass wir auch die einzigen Restaurantgäste (!) gewesen wären, es war um 22 Uhr bereits zu. Ich kann von Hotel und Restaurant nur abraten.

Strålende atmosfære
Vi hadde et flott opphold på Hotell Villa del Quar. Med hyggelig og profesjonell betjening. Med deilig landlig beliggenhet og kort vei til Verona. Men hotellet bør ikke reklamere med sykkelutlleie. Det var for dyrt og det tok for lang tid å få fraktet syklene fra utleiefirma. Dessuten må det være mulig å bruke bassenget til litt svømmetrening før klokken ti på formiddagen.

Fantastiskt på alla sätt. Maten i hotellet restaurang var så god så att vi glömde att dricka vinet! Uppgraderad till fin svit utan x-tra kostnad. Generöst. Lugn och mysig frukost. Nära till Verona, alla vingårdar och Gardasjön, men hyrbil är ett måste. Rekommenderas!
