Holiday Homes in San Rafael de Guatuso

"Very unique location in the middle of the countryside. The house is quite beautiful and kept quite clean. Amazing bird watching opportunities early in the mornings and overall a very nice experience. Be prepared for a feather rustic experience."

"What a fun and unique property! We really enjoyed the open air concept and style/design of the home! It felt like a tree house in the jungle! It was very clean and set up perfectly for an enjoyable time! All the bedrooms were closed off and had air conditioning! We really enjoyed the pool as well! Our host was so very helpful and responsive! Helping us pick activities, providing us grocery delivery and was available to quickly answer any questions- it was exceptional!"

"Wonderful place to stay. Pool, grounds and food were excellent! "

"Kids loved the pool! Great location all within an hour of Rio Celeste, chocolate tour, sloth sanctuary, and Lake Arsenal!"

"Peaceful area with beautiful view. The house was super clean and fantastic shape. The host, Anna, was extremely professional, quick to respond, very informative and eager to please. Great job Anna! "

"Loved the stay here. The road down is steep and winding. Beaitiful scenery but make sure you get a 4x4 to accomodate. "

"These hosts were so sweet and helpful throughout our stay. The property is beautiful and very peaceful!"

"The host was amazing, quick to reply to any questions we had. The home was very modern and cozy, we enjoyed the snacks and breakfast bar food they provided."

"Above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend staying here! The house and property are beautiful. The owners have thought of everything for you."

"Very beautiful spot. Near restaurants and stores. Just outside of the town of La fortuna but very accessible, we were able to get picked up by all our tours. The place itself is incredible!"

"Loved the architecture. Great place."

"This place was perfect!! It's a peaceful beautiful location close to La Fortuna but away from the tourist area. Fran was an amazing host!! We stayed here for our wedding and they treated us to a complementary float breakfast and even carved us a handmade ornament with our wedding day date on it! This place is great!! 100% recommend!"

"Beautiful spot! Hosts made our stay very easy. Everything we needed was in the house. Highly recommend."

"Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!"
