"A nice older hotel that’s been maintained, but isn’t fancy. The room was a bit cramped - the king size bed was essentially against the wall making it difficult to get out and didn’t have enough space for a bedside table. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a good, economical spot in downtown Berkeley."

"It was a very descent place to stay . Staff was friendly . The room had a little funky smell but otherwise everything was great . I left a sweater behind and the hotel staff called me to notify me it’s the first time a hotel calls me to let me know I left something behind no other hotel has done that when I left stuff behind so I was thankful for that . I will definitely stay again ."
