The room was very nice with an ocean view, but the shower was very inconvenient; it was very small. They have plenty of space to enlarge it. The staff's service is excellent, and the hotel has the best restaurant in Placencia.

The property is beautiful and staff are kind and friendly. My only issue was with the beach front property. Due to the Sargassum issue, the smell is horrible and making it hard to spend time on the beach or on the beautiful balcony. I would recommend staying at the lagoon side if you’re heading there. ...

Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay.
