  • Enjoy a perfect winter getaway at this beautiful mountain home with plenty of room for the whole family. The in-floor heating, gas fireplace, and private hot tub are all sure to help you warm up after a long day on the slopes, while the full-service kitchen has everything you'll need for a group to re-fuel. This rental also boasts fabulous views of Schweitzer Mountain and is located on a private road so you'll feel remote while still being relatively close to all the excitement.

    This rental offers quick access to the slopes via the free Schweitzer Shuttle, which will pick you up and drop you off right in the village. It is also within close proximity to tasty food at Powder Hound Pizza, and just a short drive down the mountain to all that Sandpoint has to offer.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s was good size and well equipped. We enjoyed playing games in the evening. We used the shuttle service some but also had an awd suv so we drove ourselves. You definitely need an awd to stay here in the winter. Our only complaint was that we were a bit early for the snow and only one run was open at the resort, but we had fun anyway!

Home away from home! Cute, Cozy & Comfortable. Just a 4 minute drive to the mountains upper parking lot but quiet & secluded. Highly recommend staying here.

The location is excellent for a ski trip getaway, and the cabin has everything you need for a mountain stay. Views of sunrise off the deck and through the trees really makes this place special. We'll come back for sure!

Beautiful Getaway

This home is beautiful with gorgeous decor, plenty of room, amazing views from the deck, and a pleasant 15 minute hike to the Village in the fall. We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay. We most certainly will be coming back.

Perfect Mountain Cabin

We loved everything about this cabin. It was very well appointed and had everything you could hope for in a high end cabin. Wifi worked perfectly. The Hot Tub right off the primary bedroom was awesome. The main room is amazing. Great views from the large attached deck and comfort of the fireplace the is the centerpiece. Short walk into the village and easy drive back down the mountain for everything Sandpoint has to offer. We will definitely be back.

Snowplow Home Stay

The location to the ski slope was very handy - just a couple minutes away by car. The view from the cabin was gorgeous and the hot tub private but open to the forest and horizon. We really enjoyed the warmth of the radiant heat, the art (bear over fireplace), and the loft which was a great escape for the kids. Games were geared for adults or older kids so it would have been nice to have some toys and games for preschoolers but not critical. Foyer space and hooks were nice for storage and dogs. Kitchen was well-stocked.

Nice Property

The other reviews are pretty accurate. The living room kitchen space is really nice and comfortable for a good size group and the rooms are also really nice. All of the amenities were as good as I had hoped for. The spiral staircase is not the greatest but it also was not a surprise (and honestly probably helps keep the rate lower on this house). My biggest gripe was that I could not get concrete information on the shuttle situation at Schweitzer from the property management. There were mentions of a shuttle in some reviews but very little specifics, so here is the deal (and this applies to all of the houses in the area). There is an HOA shuttle that you can call to pick you up and drop you off at the base of the mountain (and bring you back). This is SUPER convenient, there was a number on the fridge that we fortunately noticed. The downside is that the shuttle only runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For the rest of the days you can drive or walk to the slopes. This is also important (and many will roll their eyes thinking this is obvious) but make sure to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle during ski season. The roads to the houses are steep and while they are plowed daily they can still be quite slick (We rented a Van to have one vehicle and it was not 4WD - big mistake). If you wind up walking to the base it takes about 25min (it was not that bad). Great stay Car info would have made it better

Great mountain getaway

My mom and two sisters stayed here for Mother’s Day weekend. The resort was quiet which was nice. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a quick getaway to the mountains at this home. Listing was as advertised and well maintained. Important to note that the bedrooms are all downstairs so pack in small suitcases to make carrying down the cute spiral staircase easier. We would definitely stay here again!
