"Absolute amazing weekend. The host was extremely helpful in telling you where all the items were in the welcome packet. House is very well furnished super clean. I had a wonderful snowmobile weekend will definitely rent this property again!"

"If I could give a zero star, I would. The home heating wasn't working the day we arrived. We got in touch with the host but they seems to not have any urgency with our concerns even though I stated I have a small child. We addressed the heating issue again the next morning, Sat and was told a plumber will be there. Plumber came after several hours by 1pm and tried to solve the issue for about 4 hours and was told the pipe froze. When the plumber left the heating issue turned out was never fixed. That Sat night the thermostat shows 66º but gradually decreased. The next morning, Sun, upstairs thermostat was showing 53º and downstairs 50º. We checked out as quickly as we could by 8:30am. Overall, miserable weekend from staying at this place."

"This lake side house comes with an amazing family history. You feel welcomed from the moment you turn on the road. The lake view, sitting area, and dock are wonderful. And the large glass porch which looks out to the lake is the best! Wonderful walking areas right from the house. Very quiet there. Being dog friendly made my stay perfect! I met one of the original family who grew up in that house... AMAZING! The host and caretaker were always available if needed and I was greeted with a vase of flowers when I arrived. I'd always dreamed of staying with my dog in a house like this on a new england lake! "

"The lakeside cottage was beautiful! The morning fog, the afternoons canoe trips, and the lazy hammock evenings were perfect! We are excited to stay again! "

"The cottage is nestled in the woods and is located just 10 minutes from Meredith. It is well-equipped and has just about everything that you need.The owner's house is down a path from the Cottage. They are gracious and allow lake access. They have a beautiful dock. It did feel a bit odd going down there because it is in their back yard. The cottage is great for 4-6 adults. Any more than that would probably feel crowded in the main areas of the cottage. There is a great screened in porch that we really enjoyed.The refrigerator has an ice maker; there is a k-cup and a regular drip coffee maker that takes regular filters (not the cone shaped). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"We found it a well-appointed, beautiful and spacious rental home located on Wakondah Pond. After many years of renting various homes, I have to say this was one of the best, well-supplied, clean homes in which we have stayed. While it was a bit chilly when we were there to use the supplied kayaks on the lake, it was a delight to know that they were available. If it had been Summer, we definitely would have used the decks and the lakeside chairs longer and more frequently.Each room had its own temperature-regulated system so we were all very comfortable throughout the house. The rental gave the feeling of being isolated, but we were actually only a few miles from the town of Meredith and some great restaurants, which we frequented every evening.We have visited this area before and have always found new hiking trails and places to visit every year."
