"This is was kind of a last minute decision for us that we were going to be able to take this trip so we were very pleasantly surprised when we found this amazing property was available. It was just what we were looking for! A small place on the water so we could bring our boat. When we arrived the accommodations definitely exceeded our expectations. The loft is a lovely, modern, and very clean. Annie and Rob were wonderful hosts! They were very responsive to our questions and communication with them was excellent. This will certainly be a first choice on our next trip to this area."

"Beautiful property on the very special Squam Lake. The house has so much room for a large group, we were able to spread out along the waterfront dock area, front deck, and screen porch. Lots of activities to do on the water, plus the tennis court was a really nice bonus. When it rained, plenty of room in the house for indoor activities. Private location, comfortable beds, spectacular sunset views. House had all the equipment and linens that we needed."

"This is a tidy, comfortable, very well appointed home. The owners thoughtfully supply everything you might need for a wonderful week, including some great puzzles. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, the screened porch was magical and the amazing loons provided a mesmerizing soundtrack! The cove is quiet and great for swimmers. The sandy walk-in area is perfect for young children. The owners are kind and responsive. We would love to return some day!"

"Great Squam cottage/lake house! This house was perfect for our large family reunion. It’s an amazing, charming, authentic, old, true lake house with high vaulted ceilings, big stone fireplace, wrap around porch and and old school house with upstairs multi bunk style bedrooms. If you are not up for rustic, no air conditioning, limited updated bathroom or amenities, it may not be for you and that’s fine. For those who grew up on lakes in old cottages on Squam with unbelievable views and location, it is a 10 out of 10! I highly recommend reading some of the very detailed, accurate reviews before deciding.Very spacious living space, well equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking meals for large group (gas grill too) & plenty of eating space.The location is amazing- close enough to river/marina/downtown Holderness but easy access to getting out on big lake. The dock, mooring & swim/floating trampoline all made for an unbelievable week on golden pond with multi generational family…great weather helped too! But the game room would’ve been well used if rainy days. John’s communication was immediate for any questions- which were minimal.Truly feel lucky to experience this special place!"

"This is a wonderful property for families. Brendan was super at communicating through our trip and helping to resolve issues. We loved meeting the neighbors and swimming at the potholes and the lake. The washer and dryer and plenty of towels was very helpful. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need to cook dinner for the family. It’s a very old home, so be ready for some endearing quirkiness."
