Great Place To Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean, right near the beach, had all the amenities one could want and was a pleasure to stay in. Highly recommended. Rent a bike for the week and you are close enough to anywhere you want to go.

Absolutely loved it! Clean and beautiful. Kitchen adequately stocked, and the balcony was wonderful for morning coffee and dinner. Beach chairs were provided for the short walk. My husband caught several small fish off the private dock, but the highlight was when the manatees came right by. Incredible! Two beautiful pools, immaculate grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Two of their maintenance/staff helped us locate our unit upon arrival, then gladly carried our luggage etc up the stairs for us, and afterwards refused to accept a tip. Shout out to Carter and Caleb! Every time we encountered staff there, always smiling and helpful! I can’t express enough how lovely and relaxing the Moorings was! Beautiful island with shopping and wonderful restaurants. The only downside for us was the traffic on the island. Walk, rent bikes, and check maps for alternate routes…Hope to return again!

There is construction but it is not an issue -- noise or otherwise. Most restaurants are open. Shopping is minimal. The island is quiet but we were ok with that. We will be back!

It was sad to see all the beautiful botanical gardens wiped out from Hurricane Ian however it was still a wonderful visit. You can see all the hard work that is taking place by the Sanibel Moorings staff and contractors. Our unit was perfect and we enjoyed every minute.

We were very happy with our condo, and overjoyed at the condition of the moorings in general. This was our first stay in building 9 and found it to be very conveniently located close to the beach, pool, and grills. The check in/check out process was very easy. We had a minor issue with our tub drain and maintenance immediately came to the condo and fixed it. We were so grateful to everyone for working so hard to recover from Ian so that we could return. Thank you Sanibel Moorings for a great 2 weeks. We are already planning our return.

Great place!

Super friendly check in process. Condo was clean and comfortable. The Sanibel Moorings has so much to offer if you want activities. But actually the beach chairs and umbrellas were all we needed! Will stay again!

The Moorings enable you to make every moment of your stay impactful. Our first time staying at this resort and very impressed with the experience. The unit was extremely clean, grounds are beautiful and the staff very helpful and attentive. Only complaint would be the bed- very uncomfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed in this unit for a week, our second year in the same unit. It is comfortable and well maintained. It could use a more modern (Smart) TV and more stainless flatware, but those are minor concerns. Sanibel Moorings does a good job, though I wish they had more beach umbrellas. We plan to return next year, perhaps to a unit with a different view, but we would also be happy to stay in the same one again.

Great Grounds and Location!

The grounds and surrounding area were beautiful. Great access to the beach. Room was not as clean as it could be. Kitchen was missing some things needed (spatula, whisk, working toaster, etc.). Our family did enjoy everything though. Staff was responsive but a little stand offish. The regulations seemed to be at their convenience such as pool times (often closed early for staff convenience) and people saving chairs at the pool and at the ocean (which large groups did consistently during our visit.)
