Island Beach Club is a cozy community containing only 75 units in 6 buildings. Situated near the popular "mid-island" area of Sanibel, Island Beach Club consists of 1.74 acres located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The community features nearly 400 feet of white sand beachfront, with plenty of beautiful shells washing up daily for the collectors.
Built in 1976, the complex offers floor plans up to 1,440 square feet in size. This is a historic area of the island, being the approximate location of the first Inn located on Sanibel, "The Sister's Inn" developed in the latter part of the 19th Century. Island Beach Club is home to the best sunrises, sunsets, shelling, wading or swimming on the West Coast of Florida. The heart of the Island is only minutes away by car or bike, where guests can stroll and enjoy the myriad of Island shopping and dining experiences.

This beautiful condo did not disappointment. It is immaculately clean, tastefully and vibrantly decorated, and equipped with all amenities. The resort is right on the beach and though this unit didn't face the ocean, we were only steps away. It was our first trip to Sanibel and it is a lovely, quiet, safe and upscale community. And did I mention the shells? INCREDIBLE!!!

This condo was a lovely, well kept space. It has large floor to ceiling windows and feels spacious compared to other condos that I have stayed in on Sanibel Island. It has a very nice kitchen that is well equipped. There is a lot of beautiful original nature photography in this condo. The pool is well kept. As a bonus there is covered parking. This space worked very well for my family of 4. It is a short walk from the condo to the beach. This unit is at the back of the complex and has no beach view, but it does have a nice view of the grounds. I did use my car to transport my SUP boards to the front of the complex as it would have been too far to carry the boards from the back of the complex. Overall it was a very comfortable and fun stay.
Very nice, clean property. Property Managers were very nice and responsive.
We have always stayed at Casa Ybel when on the island but they do not allow pets so decided to stay here instead & would do again.
Would prefer a unit that faces the ocean (or that I can see from my bedroom).

The condo was better than we had expected. Location was right on the beach. We were in the back building off the main road, but it was very quiet and not a far walk to the beach at all. We had a small view of the pool, which was nice. It was clean and had everything we needed for the week. It was bigger than we had expected. The grounds were kept clean, and the stairs were located right next to the unit, which was helpful since we brought our dog with us. The bike/walking trail was right across the street, so we liked going right out to that without having to drive. The one thing we disliked was on the morning of checkout, the next renter was trying to get in. I opened the door and asked if she was checking in because she had her family there and the kids had their beach toys. I thought maybe it was the cleaning lady until I saw that. She said she was here to check-in. I told her it wouldn't be ready until 4. I am not sure if the same code is used, but I do think that a new code needs to be used for each new guest and not given out until the unit is ready for arrival, as this is a big safety and security issue. Other than that, we loved the island and the condo and would stay here again in the future.
Our family of 6 enjoyed a wonderful stay at Island Beach Club 210A. Kitchen is fabulous, both bedrooms are spacious, living room is comfortable with big window looking through to pool. There is no beach view from this unit, however the grounds are beautiful and the walk to beach is very quick. The shelling is amazing here! We usually stay on East Gulf Dr (east side of island) and the shelling is so much better here. Very quiet, both in the resort and on the beach. The sand and beach equipment room in garage was very helpful to store our wagon amd canopy. Highly recommend!
Condo was in great condition and was very clean . It was well equipped with beach chairs, beach towels and linens. We will definitely be returning to this condo and complex very soon. Kitchen was well stocked and the parking was very convenient, right underneath the unit . Thank you for our wonderful week at Sanibel Island .
Loved staying in this unit on a trip to Sanibel; spacious condo that was a good value for the money; decent pool, close to beach. Liked that the unit had decent cookware, even some stainless steel pans, instead of flaking-apart Teflon I have seen in most other units. Bugs weren’t a problem in the unit though we kept our food sealed away. Great shelling on the beach. This is the farthest north/west m on the island I have stayed, normally we stay closer to the lighthouse. I liked the proximity to the grocery stores and shopping here.
Very nicely appointed with new appliances
The beach umbrella and many beach chairs were a nice extra. There is no view of the pool as there is heavy vegetation surrounding the pool, but you’re not here for the view from the unit, you’re here for the beach which is fantastic. The location of the property is superb. Close to Thistle Lodge for an elegant evening and just a short drive or bike ride to “Sanibel central” meaning close to Doc Ford’s, Over Easy and Baileys
Wonderful stay on Sanibel. The condo was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The property management company provided starter toilet paper, paper towels and and dish detergent. The property has tons of bath towels and some beach towels as well as several beach chairs and a beach umbrella. We found all of these items very useful. However, this particular unit, does not have the best view. We knew it was not ocean front but it is a stretch to say it is even a garden/landscape view. There are trees outside the lanai but the view is mostly of the other buildings and parking lot. It was very noisy with work/delivery trucks while trying to drink coffee on the screened lanai and we kept the curtains closed 90% of the time so we did not feel on display through the large windows. There is also a lot of wording in the welcome information about noise and children being supervised at all times. This came across as very unwelcoming/not family friendly and consideration may want to be taken to revise the way this is presented to future renters.
Overall the condo was well maintained and allowed for a nice stay.
