Mom and I went for a 5 night stay, 1st time on sanibel and it was so so wonderful! the vegetation in the lanai has grown since the listing photos and is so lush, the unit was private, ground floor so direct access to beach and pool from screened in patio and no stairs! Incredible value for what you’re getting, wouldn’t have rather stayed in any of the other units. The pool only has 3 umbrellas for the whole property so it can be a little busy on the weekends but the ocean 60 steps away is a wonderful alternative! Including the SHELLING - phenomenal! The office staff were SO friendly, they offered anything we needed and you can rent beach umbrellas and bikes through them, beach chairs were included in the unit :) Would highly recommend travel via bike or golf cart, looked so fun! If I had to nit pick my only recommendation would be a full length mirror in the living room, mirror space was tight for 2 gals and it can be inconvenient if you’re a smoker - be prepared to walk past the speed bump at the front of the property. No commercial restaurants on the island so it’s all local eateries with incredible food, would highly recommend the 25 min drive to captiva for some great sunsets, food, and luxury beach house viewing. Jerry’s, the main island grocery is literally right down the street and quite expensive but very convenient, there were great sales on apparel at the mango bay surf company gift shop and cute souvenirs! Overall would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return
