The property is very clean and neat. The thought put in to the details made our trip easy. The access to bicycles, laundry and beach equipment made our week smooth. The cottages were clean, so aesthetically pleasing and well thought out. We would definitely recommend this stay.

We had a queen room in the motel portion and loved it. 2 full bathrooms with a nice sized kitchen area and separate bedroom. The back view was of the pond, area well kept and pretty. The laundry facilities was great to have and plenty of bath and beach towels stocked there each morning. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Very quiet

Very quaint little motel, beautifully renovated, the king studio is very nice modern and elegant furnishings. Staff was very helpful and extremely polite. Self check in was very easy, once I read the message from the staff, everything you need is at the facility. Location is is perfect, midisland lots of restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive. We will definitely be staying here in the future. I highly recommend.

Beautiful place with great amenities. The rooms are well decorated and very clean. We also really loved 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. The outdoor space is just perfect to spend time after the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at The Anchor Inn! Our room was very clean and well decorated. They have excellent amenities that we used throughout the stay including the laundry room, bikes, pool, and beach equipment with beautiful beaches within a mile of the Inn. Will definitely be coming back!

A great place to stay on Sanibel! We loved the bikes and used them to ride all over the island (they have baskets which is also helpful). The beach is <1 mile away and less 8 min bike ride. The rooms are well decorated, updated, and good for a short stay. We did find someone else's shorts under the bed and a few of the dishes weren't clean, so a little more attention needs to be put on cleaning, but overall the unit was well kept! It was nice to have a pool - the pool was quite hot and not really refreshing, but to be expected of a pool in the sun in Florida in the summer. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!

Very cute vibe! Location was great -right on main “drag” walking distance to several places but biking is the way to go! So much fun and with the bike paths you can basically go anywhere. Perfect size for two. Very clean and lots of little touches that made it better like the shell cleaning station.

We had a wonderful stay at Anchor Cottage Inn on Sanibel. The location was incredibly convenient, close to everything we needed yet it remained peaceful and quiet even though the property was fully booked during our visit and located off a main road. We stayed in the Signature Cottage, which was beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. It truly felt like everything had been considered, from the clean, easy-to-use laundry machines to the beach chairs and towels ready for use. A special mention goes to Jane, who was absolutely amazing warm, welcoming, and always available when we had questions. Her recommendations for food and local activities were spot-on and really enhanced our trip. We would absolutely recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Really cute place, clean, beautiful renovation, good location, owner was easy to communicate with. The bed was really comfortable. My only negative was that in the king pond view room the AC blows right on the bed. I had a hard time sleeping but my husband was ok. We only stayed one night so I dealt with it but if we were there longer I might've asked to change rooms if the AC was different in another room. But overall I would book again on another trip to Sanibel.

You probably will not stay in one of the triangular cottages. Most rooms look like a one-story motel and are not well represented on the hotel web site. However, everything about the room was high quality and comfortable. Our room (07) overlooked a pond with anhingas, turtles and egrets. Free bikes with helmets and locks, free guest laundry.
