"World class property. Total surprise for a small town. The lobby is as large and impressive as some 5 star hotels, if more modestly furnished. The hotel is brand new, they told us they opened in November 2023. "It was an amazing experience but the AC in room was not high enough and when I try to lower the temperature,I noticed that beyond some temperature, I couldn't lowered down from my remote. I could have called front desk and since it was at midnight,I really sleepy and don't want to wakeup. "Within walking distance from around was a plus point of Shevaroys. Huge rooms with even bigger bathrooms n great verandas with a swing are hard to find in today's studio unit concepts. Cooperative staff and a comfy bed were plus points. Having stayed in the highest category Luxury villas, it's difficult to comment on my he other ones. Though Yercaud enjoys amiable weather, it would be essential to include an Air Con n refrigerator n safe at least in the higher category rooms for convenience....

"We stayed in the resort for two days. I had great expectations from all the positive reviews. Our room floor was very sticky on the day of our arrival. Also the swing bed was just kept on the floor. The next day we asked the hotel staff to please clean the room and mop the floor. They had the whole day to do that. When we came back in the evening expecting a clean room, it was not even opened to even clear the dustbin. When we complained, a half hearted brooming was done. There is no in house...
