Comedy of Errors
The hotel accidentally overbooked and sent me to their sister hotel, Hotel Post, which didn’t have free parking and charged me a higher room rate. Furthermore, Hotel Fischer also charged me for the night, apparently as a no-show for my original booking. Waiting to see if I can get a refund...

We have informed you a week before arrival that your room will be in the 4 star Hotel Post (upgrade) As we had your credit card for the booking we informed the Hotel Post that we will pay the room, because we took already the money from your card. Sorry that Hotel Post also you charged. As soon as you told us that we have refund you the money on your card. Sorry for that misunderstandings. Hope to welcome you again in the future.

Besten Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Es freut uns sehr, dass Sie unser Haus so positive bewertet haben. Unsere Zimmer wurden im Jahre 2014 komplett neu renoviert inkl. Vorhänge und Teppiche sowie alle Badezimmer. Es gibt 4 Zimmer im Hotel wo wir "nur" eine Badwanne inkl. Duschvorrichtung haben. In unserer Hotelbeschreibung kann man ersehen, dass wir keine Wasserkocher in den Zimmern haben. Diese sind auch in Österreich nicht üblich. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, Sie wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen.

The hotel is right in the center of St Johann. An easy walk anywhere. The staff was most helpful. Good breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this hotel!

A pleasant stay
I am both a Marriott Platinum Elite and Hilton Diamond member, accustomed to the corporate hotel experience traveling 40 plus weeks/year. My first impression upon arrival at the small and centrally located hotel was like "OK, I hope all goes well". Check-in was quick and by the end of our first day I was happy with my choice and pleasantly surprised with the Family run hotel and its staff that treats and greets its guests like family. That is the exact opposite experience of being in a Marriott/Hilton property. We had the breakfast option in our rate and opted to eat dinner 3 of our 6 nights. Our table had our name each day and our preferred dinner time (7pm). Breakfast buffet is well prepared and abundant, breads freshly made. The dinner options include a soup and salad buffet with many choices. The dinner entree and dessert were served by the staff along with drinks from the bar. Our dinner dates were well above par and well prepared. We went to the ski rental store recommended by Fisher next to the Park (sister) Hotel where you can keep the skis and boots next to the lift. We identified ourselves as Fisher guests and within a few minutes had our boots fit to our rental skis as well as a card to open the ski room door. Being a corporate traveler dulls you into a bland and predictable experience. The Fisher Hotel was a most welcome break from that routine. It's like being in the TV show Cheers where everyone knows your name.

A Great Hotel for a Great Town
The Fischer really is a decent hotel in the centre of St Johann. I stayed here for 3 nights for Skiing and had an excellent time. The station is only a short walk away and enables you to travel to Kitzbuhel for free is you are skiing. Smoking is allowed in the bar-come on Austria for a great country get it sorted!

Insgesamt zufriedenstellend. Die Doppelzimmer gefielen mir gar nicht. Abgewohnter Schrank und Holzablage für den Koffer. Teppichboden im Hotel finde ich einfach eklig. Bett und Bad neu. Jedoch der erste Eindruck zählt. Wir hatten dann ein Superiorzimmer gebucht. Das war insgesamt größer mit Sitzgelegenheit. Neues Bad, gutes Bett. Jedoch auch Teppichboden. Die zum Hotel gehörende Bar und der Loungebereich sind modern und sehr gelungen. Vom 'Wellnessbereich' im Keller sollte man sich nicht zu viel versprechen. Sehr gutes Frühstück und nettes Personal.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel
Sehr zentral 3 Sterne Superior-Hotel im Zentrum von St.Johann gelegen. Genügend Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Ein sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Besitzerehepaar. Großes Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr freundliches Personal im Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und ausreichend groß. Ausnahmsweise hätte eine Direktbuchung im Hotel den Vorteil gehabt dass das Frühstück und das Abendessen kostenlos dabei gewesen wäre.

Erinomainen hotelli
Erittäin hyvä hotelli ihan kaupungin keskustassa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, ja todella maukas aamiainen ja illallinen. Siisteys erinomainen. Kylpyamme olisi ollut plussaa laskettelun jäljiltä ja parkkipaikat olivat joskus kortilla.

Centralt hotell i St Johann för sommaraktiviteter
Bodde med familjen bestående av 2 vuxna och 2 barn, 8 och 10 år i en familjelägenhet. Balkong till lägenhet vilket var perfekt att sitta på efter en dag ute. Hotellet har ett centralt läge nära torget. Gångavstånd till kabinbana och vattenland. I vårt boende hade vi frukost inkluderat och den hade allt vi behövde. Fanns parkering utanför hotellet men vi valde att parkera på hotellets parkeringsplats 200 m bort då det var lättare att ta sig in och ur därifrån. Det är några år sedan hotellet renoverades men allt fungerade och det passade oss utmärkt.

Vi ankom sent, og receptionisten var gået for dagen, så det var bartenderen der hjalp os - og han kunne desværre ikke gøre familieværelset, som vi havde bestilt klar. Så vi endte i 2 kolde dobbeltværelser. Lidt trist.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und überholt.
Im großen und Ganzen auf dem Stand der 90-er geblieben. Vom Minilift über den nicht einsehbaren TV bis zu dem überhitzten Zimmer, obwohl die Heizung auf Null steht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ansonsten eben Mittelklasse.

Das Zimmer war schon ordentlich abgelebt - besonders am Bett alles abgeschlagen. Viel Staub im Zimmer und Bad. Besonders ärgerlich, das TV-Gerät war oberhalb im Eck hinter Bett - Nackensteife sicher...

Es war eine ganze Gruppe von angehenden holländischen Skilehrern im Hotel einquartiert, diese haben keine Rücksicht auf die anderen Gäste genommen und haben ihre lautstarken Partys bis in den frühen Morgen durchgeführt.
