"A lovely large old hotel overlooking sea in San Remo. It was obviously very grand in it's day. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Room was a good size and lots of toiletries provided in bathroom. Pool was lovely, a good size and a with poolside bar. We found space easily but in peak season i imagine it would very busy as space around pool is limited in comparison to size of hotel. Excellent location for beach and to walk to...

"The staff spoke Italian, French, and English. They were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast each morning provided a lot of food/drink options. The location of the hotel was convenient to the sea and casino, many shops and restaurants. (Long walk or cab ride to the train station, pretty walk from bus station.) Breakfast is fantastic with a wide variety. The only downside to the hotel is no parking. There is street parking available. From 8 am to 8 pm, you need to feed the meter.
