"Although not within close proximity to train station, which is what we'd have preferred, the hotel is just a short walk from a bus stop - there are two buses that can bring you there from the Miyako train station. Buses run regularly during the day - be sure to grab a bus schedule at the train station or the tourist information center situated right next door. "The hotel is very convenient to the train station, and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The hotel provides multiple vending machines for your convenience which is nice because the nearest 7/11 I could find was about a 10 minute walk. Getting near the port is also easy enough, it's about a 20 minute walk to the downtown area and some good restaurants. "
