The location of this hotel is great and you tend to pay more for a big city hotel but some things could have been better.
There wasn’t a single picture or decoration on the wall. Not a big deal but made the room kind of drab.
The bed was old and kind of sagged on one side. The tv was small and wasn’t a smart tv so only one English channel. One chair and only tiny end tables. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked so didn’t feel like the hotel was well kept

Only one of the days for reasons that were not known the room was extremely dirty with leaning rugs left on the table and messy sheets .
Reception searches still the reason since their employ came and took pictures

We received a warm and helpful welcome at the reception desk. We were early, so they took our bags and gave us advice on what to do while we awaited check-in.
The concierge helped us get tickets to a musical concert.
Our room was very comfortable and tidy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.
The location is perfect for exploring the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona and the free breakfast helped us get fueled up for walking.
