Arc la Rambla

"The location was excellent! After a 3 night stay, we headed off on a cruise, and this accommodation had us a very short walk to the 3€ cruise shuttle. Also location wise, we were very close to the harbour promenade and the trendy neighbourhood of Gothic Quarter, which was great for wandering and eating out. All in all, we felt very safe, although the location immediately outside the hotel (La Rambla) becomes very seedy late at night. Totally out of control of the hotel is that La Rambla is undergoing a major construction upgrade, and this is taking several years. This was only a minor inconvenience for our stay however, and certainly didn’t interfere with sleep quality. Our room was ok, although very small for Western standards. We had a double bed with only very limited access around the bed, and not much space to lay down suitcases. But there is plenty of hanging space and also a decent safe. All in all, I would stay again."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early before check in and checked out before our flight left later. They were very accommodating by storing our luggage. Coffee and water was available always in the lobby. Great rooftop patio with a wonderful view of the Sagrada Familia. Great location. Would highly recommend!"

"The hotel is beautiful, very clean, safe and in the hub of activity in Ferran a very popular street off of Las Ramblas. The room was quiet and the service was excellent. We arrived at 8:30 am off of a cruise and we’re delighted to find that our room was ready for us and they allowed us to check in early. Breakfast buffet was superb! The beds were quite firm, which is my only complaint, otherwise, tge stay was perfect!"

"We arrived early (9am) from off our cruise ship and they were very accommodating to store our luggage in their lock-up room (included a safe for our documents) till proper check-in time later in the day. This allowed us to go out about and explore the area that day without hauling all our stuff around with us. The hotel is well located for access to all aspects of Barcelona (historical sites, etc.). Being on a main road, transportation to and from the hotel was easy. And any on-foot exploring from there was perfect. The pool area was well kept and quiet, and was a great way to wind down after spending time walking around most of the day exploring Barcelona ! The breakfast was the only real letdown per-se in that it was mediocre in offerings and at $14Euros each there were better options from other close-by Bakeries, etc. The room was very clean and comfortable, for sure. Overall an excellent place to stay."
