"We were upgraded to this hotel, having booked the sister hotel . It's half way up a steep hill so not for the unfit or physically disabled. Having said that, there is a regular shuttle bus (free) into Sorrento. The hotel looks nice from the outside, and the reception area is very large and spacious, and looks to have been fairly recently refurbished. The friendly and helpful reception staff directed us to our room. What a disappointment. It looked like something out of a James Bond 1970s...
