"I requested a double bed room when I made the booking and also sent a message to the property to make sure they were aware of this, but I was given a twin room instead. After my journey, I was also charged extra because their system showed that I had used items from the minibar, even though I did not touch anything at all. Overall, it was an expensive and unpleasant stay."

"Loved this hotel and the location. We were able to open our balcony doors and listen to different local musicians perform in the evenings. It was not loud, but it created a very tranquil ambience."

"Staff were amazing - so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was quirky with large, minimalist rooms - personally I would have preferred some better lighting in the bathroom and maybe a larger side or table to put things on in the actual bedroom but otherwise was clean and airy. Breakfast served on the roof terrace was just lovely with a wide variety of options (and suitable alternatives for me as a coeliac) and was a highlight of each day :) There was also a welcome drink voucher on arrival redeemed at the attached Cafe de Madrid. Hotel was very central near the cathedral and I would highly recommend a stay here."

"Firtly, the hotel is amazingly well placed, it's about a five minute stroll to the cathedral but right next to a main road which made access to and from the airport very easy. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful; I was given a bottle of fresh water (without asking for it) before I had reached the lift after getting back from a run. The room was clean, well designed and the room had everything needed to make the stay a great one. I loved the hotel, I loved Valencia and I hope to be back."
