"Fantastic breakfast buffet, glorious views from the Junior Suite. Ventilation in the room was poor though - the Aircon was a little underpowered. The beds were huge, but provide little back support. Wonderful location, perfect for both relaxing holidays and hiking holidays. I will return one day."

"Unfortunately I would say our experience wasn’t great. The balcony door was broken and when asked to have our room switched she told us not to worry it’s safe. Being that we were on a girls trip. We didn’t feel safe at all and the balcony was on the first floor. So people can easily just walk right it. That ruined the trip it self. The space it self was clean and huge. Very roomie but that situation didn’t allow us to sleep and we had put chairs and table by the door not that would have much but to prevent someone from coming in. Unfortunately I was not impressed that they didn’t switch rooms for us as that would have made the experience better but we couldn’t get any sleep. "

"Anna is a wonderful host. Communication was excellent, Anna responds right away with clear instructions. Check in was simple and straightforward and her property provides an excellent base to explore beautiful Madeira. The house is clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need, the garden is a beautiful place to relax and Anna welcomes you with some delicious local delicacies. We had a wonderful week."

"Wir waren zu Dritt in diesem wundervollen Haus. Der Aufenthalt war toll. Am Tag sind wir viel gewandert und am Abend in der Nähe zu Fuß, etwa 500 m, hatten wir viel Auswahl mit dem Abendessen. Das Städtchen Santa Cruz war wunderschön mit Lichtern weihnachtlich geschmückt. Das war bis jetzt unsere Beste Unterkunft und wir sind seit 20 Jahren jedes Jahr unterwegs. Einzig meine Freunde, sie schliefen im größeren Zimmer konnten nicht so gut schlafen wegen der Matratze. Vielen Dank, Carlos für dein Vertrauen und dass du uns dein Haus für 11 Tage überlassen hast. "Very good communication, given the door codes before arriving. Accommodation was excellent, bed was very comfy and shower fab. We used public transport so you need to work out the buses that pass the door unless you don't mind walking. It's about a 25 minute walk to the airport from the property. Lovely garden area and has a banana plantation right in front of accommodation. Airport is very close so many flights taking off and landing. If using buses you can use the 113 bus to and from machico but must have a b for bemposta to go past the door. Kitchen facilities are excellent in the property. About 20 /25 minute walk to Santa Cruz. Nice views over the sea. Would certainly recommend and use in the future. Cheers 😁😁"
