"The home was very clean, and after a very stressful experience traveling into the country, my children and I separated from my wife due to an American Airlines mess-up with a broken seat, this house was immediately relaxing and welcoming. Open spaces, quality decor, and my favorite part: located very close to the Zipline adventure park, el Tigre waterfall, and the town of Santa Elena. There is so much to do nearby that the location is really top notch. The house is relaxing and well-kept. I would bring my family here again. "

"Well where do I start… this place is truly special. The photos on the listing don’t do it justice. It is honestly beautiful. The home is immaculate and clean, and the bed is huge and super comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows give fantastic views into the beautiful green gardens which are manicured to perfection. Oscar who looks after the property is lovely and will make sure you are comfortable during your stay. This place is honestly a hidden gem you must book it if staying in Monteverde. There is even a little trail into the rainforest from the end of the garden. At night you will find frogs in the pond. The property location is just 10-15 minute drive from selvatura park and Santa elena cloud forest. I would recommend a 4x4 or SUV as the last 1km of road is loosely paved. 10/10 I would recommend this stay. "

"The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and aims to please. The lodge offers a simple nice breakfast. Dinner is also available if you confirm - we chose to eat off property. The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. There was no TV in our room, I suggest making certain you have games or other entertainment. I also suggest planning to arrive back at the lodge early evening, before it gets too dark, but only due to the road. Don't let any part of my review scare you. This was our second stay. They now have a hanging bridge company and zip line company off their same road - easy access to adventure outside of the waterfall hike accessible from the lodge."
