Adobe Casita Downtown - King Bed + Patio * Spacious 450 Sq Ft
Step into a Santa Fe style casita characteristic of the 400 year old city. Delight in the charm of this 1800s historic adobe in the heart of downtown and the convenience of easy walking distance to the excitement and cultural activities of the historic Plaza, Canyon Road, Farmer`s Market, Rail Yard District, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, shops, movie theaters...and more! Don`t miss out on this unique and charming experience.
You`ll be staying in a 450 square foot renovated historic adobe with thick adobe walls and rustic wood beam (called `vigas`) ceilings and a private patio. Perfect size space, super quiet and cozy, and amazingly luxurious shower! The bed was also comfy. We walked all over downtown from here, the location was great.
We loved staying at Paul & Laurie's place. It was close enough to the center of the city while also far enough away that it didn't feel overly touristy. The communication and check in process was top tier and I'm already scheming for a way to visit again. Couldn't recommend it more!
A lovely casita conveniently located to many of Santa Fe’s many attractions. The accommodations were very comfortable and nicely decorated with an eye for detail. Paul, the host, was great at communicating and provided us with a very detailed and well curated list of things to do and places to eat, depending on our tastes as well as suggestions on how to reach Santa Fe from Albuquerque. I would definitely recommend this property!
This place was super clean and you can tell the owner takes pride in his property. The decor was great, the bed and bedding comfortable, well equipped and there were great extra touches like eye masks provided, Kleenex and plenty of coffee pods. The owner, Paul, was very responsive to my communication. It is a great location that is walking distance to great shopping, restaurants and bars. We would absolutely stay here again.
The property was very nice. It was well equipped with everything needed and the cleaning company did a great job. It was also located in a nice part of town so you felt safe walking to town or the railroad area. The outside table and chairs were also nice for breakfast of dinner.
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The unit was spotless clean. Parking is directly in front making it very handy. Check in and out was very smooth and efficient.
Being within easy walking distance to old town square and many restaurants made the stay great.
Definitely will return.
Properly was very good with a great location. Our only complaints are the mini-refrigerator didn’t have a freezer compartment and there was no table and chairs where we could eat.
From the time it was booked, Paul was very helpful as this trip was for family. The home was immaculate and very close to the center of everything. Furniture was in really great condition and appliances as well. I will definitely be returning.
Extremely happy with our stay. Great location allowed us to walk to downtown Santa Fe or the Railyard, and the property was perfect. Decorated very nicely and had tons of amenities - Keurig coffemaker, pods & creamer (which is so nice!), nice bath products and a high quality hair dryer. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. They seemed to have thought of everything. If we go back to Santa Fe we would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommend.
My husband and I have stayed at a variety of properties all over the country and in Europe and we both agreed this was one of the nicest, most well-appointed properties. We chose it based on its walk-ability to both the artsy-hip Railyard District and the downtown plaza area. It is quiet, comfortable, clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated (the couch and coffee table have changed but not in a bad way). We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The owners were communicative leading up to and during our visit (we asked for an extra night), and provided us with recommendations for sites and restaurants based on our plans. They are lovely people!
We stayed for just over a week, a long time, and the place worked well for two of us. Very nice to have the washer / dryer and we booked knowing the kitchen was limited and it was fine for us; it had a great ice maker and that was a bonus. King-sized bed was very comfortable. Location was very near the railyard is and very walkable to the plaza and (if it hadn't been so hot) to Canyon Rd. Also really easy to get to St. Francis and Cerillos to get out of town in any direction. Given that Paseo de Peralta is a pretty busy street, the place was pretty quiet although occasionally we'd hear a loud truck or motorcycle. Only contacted the host once, when Internet went down, and he responded immediately and had an IT person out promptly to resolve. Would definitely stay here again.
Everything about this property is designed for a wonderful experience. Every need was met. My husband and I are frequent VRBO guests. We often laugh at what a property lacks saying has the property owner ever spent the night, taken a shower, made breakfast etc, in this location? We appreciate Paul's attention to detail. The house manual was so detailed we had no questions. Small details like a towel hook in the stall shower, Box of Kleenex, full roll of paper towels and 4 rolls of Toilet paper were a pleasant surprise as this was not the norm. Location was lose to the Rail Yard and historic district. If we return to Santa Fe, this is where we would stay. Thank you Paul!
