Perfect location for Zen Center retreat. We loved our stay. Very comfy bed.
Wonderful relaxing location and so close to the arroyo to walk each morning! Being in nature is important but not too remote! It’s only a few minutes drive to the Plaza and places you want to go. Beautiful location and house! It is perfect for one or two people. Great bed…I slept like a baby. I will return again I hope!
Wonderfully cosy and bright casita near to downtown Santa Fe, but remarkably quiet in a secluded area. A walk up Cerro Gordo Rd into the hills from the casita was so refreshing and beautiful as was the trek down along the river pathway to Canyon Road. The main bed was so comfortable, it was tempting to stay in it for longer than one should while in the City Different! If one is planning to do a lot of cooking, this may not be the ideal place as the kitchen is small and does not have a full size oven. However, one can still manage with the stovetop, microwave and Breville toaster/oven.
Loved the area of the house. Near hiking trails and easy to get into town. Also quiet. The place was clean and comfortable and Patricia was quick to respond to any inquiry.
This property was perfect for my daughter and I who came to NM to see the Zozobra festival. It was tucked away in the foothills, quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
I stayed here for almost 2 weeks with my dog. The owner was wonderful and a great comfort to me when I unexpectedly experienced a heart attack. I found a park just a short walk down the road from the casita where I could walk my dog every evening, and there is also Monsignor Patrick Smith Park just a short drive away. Very close to Canyon Road and excellent restaurants. The casita itself was comfortable, especially the bed in the master bedroom!
I love the koi pond, the entry was leveled a bit higher but we rented a small suv that was perfect, the bed was amazingly comfortable to sleep on. Everything was clean, close to everything. I would recommend this casita.
My host was very attentive and courteous. The Casita was well appointed, comfortable surrounded by nature.
Proximity was ideal for driving access to Santa Fe National Forest as well as the town.
Relaxing and quiet environment.
It was quiet. The coy pond was great! Location was great. The kitchen was awkward not really a full kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay!
Just what I was looking for while doing a program at the Upaya Zen Center. Quiet, clean and beautiful. Easy paths to a park and river trails. Patricia was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.
The owner is so nice. The home was clean and the bed was SUPER comfy. So peaceful and quiet. We loved every minute we had there. It was a nice place to stay and to get away from work. :) We would stay there again. Thank you for the greatest time!
This is a comfortable property for two people. The location is secluded up in the canyon and easily accessible to canyon and river trails. It is only a mile walk to the Tea House and the art work on Canyon Road. The kitchen is tiny but that is a good excuse to sample the many fine dining experiences in town. Patricia is a welcoming and responsive hostess.
Clean, neat with laundry and a quiet location, but I recommend the owner have a welcome book to explain how things work in the unit. There was only directions to restaurants and shops. Also we hiked to Canyon road along the river path and the Plaza (2 miles one way) but had to figure out the directions ourselves.
I enjoyed a great week surrounded by quiet, peaceful nature but within a 5 min drive of town. Walks for the dog were a block over in a local part, in town along the river and up the street in local hiking trails. Bedroom was quiet, shower was roomy. Views of the blue western sky outside near a water feature. Enclosed outside dining area was great for some sun as well.
Very nice casita with everything we needed except a liquid measuring cup, lol! The bed in the main bedroom was a dream- like sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful view of the mountains just a short walk away. No lights in the neighborhood at night so driving back was a bit of a challenge in the evening, but we truly enjoyed our stay! My wife hopes that the fruit left on the ground is put to good use and not gone to waste. Would recommend! Dog friendly a plus.
This is a lovely property that's perfect for relaxing--there's a koi pond outside, a comfy day bed in the living room that's piled with pillows, and lots of places to just sit down and take it easy. It's tastefully decorated, and the bed is very comfortable, and you're just minutes away from the Santa Fe Plaza. The kitchen is well-appointed with an induction stove, a Breville oven, and a microwave, but the space is tight, and would be tough to cook dinner here, but given all the excellent restaurants in Santa Fe, there's probably no need. All in all, a lovely place to stay that we enjoyed tremendously!
This was a nice property in a nice part of town. Ten minutes from historic downtown. Property manager was prompt with any questions. Kitchen was virtually unusable because it was so very small. There is no prep area or place to put dishes once you wash them. There is a nice grill outside but again no room in the kitchenette to prep anything. The bed was nice and shower was good. Great for those who eat out.
