Whether you're a gardener or simply a nature lover, this downtown Santa Fe home will thrill you! Flowers and foliage lean over garden paths, adding color and scent to this gorgeous 2-story home.
Historic Garden Retreat is steps away from the Plaza, yet this beautiful adobe house can seem quite secluded, thanks to generous grounds and lush gardens. It sleeps 8 people very comfortably in 4 bedrooms, and even boasts multiple living areas, a luxe remodeled kitchen, HDTVs and DVD players, and free WiFi.
Kiva fireplaces grace both the living room and its adjacent sitting room, a light-filled alcove with deep reading chairs and good lighting from a central lamp. There is also an informal den with a long sectional couch and big flat-screen TV, so your group can break up into smaller segments based on what everyone wants to do. Relax, spread out, and get comfortable in this roomy house!
Historic Garden Retreat is ideal for your large group. The kitchen here encourages chefs to have fun preparing Santa Fe's mouth-watering produce and tasty treats from the Farmer's Market. Stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and cupboards stuffed with cooking gadgets, pots and pans, and serving dishes all tempt you to fill the fridge with groceries and treat your gang to homemade pancakes in the morning or nachos at night.
There are several places to enjoy the feasts from the kitchen, too. A breakfast bar with bistro stools lets family members keep the chef company (and makes a nice table for the kids), while the formal dining room is a breathtaking sunshiny space boasting a chandelier and a long wooden table. This house is beautifully decorated and within walking distance to the main plaza area. We really enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of space to host a large group! The house had everything you could need for a relaxing stay.

We loved the house. It truly makes you feel like you are in Santa Fe with the way it's designed and decorated. It's also very close to the Old Town so we were able to walk there. The hot tub and fireplaces added to the coziness.

Ski trip

Thanks for another great stay (2nd time at this property)!Excellent location on the way to Ski Santa Fe, but also close to the Plaza & conveniences of Santa Fe. Lovely set up for apres ski, family style dinner, and board games, followed by relaxing time in the hot tub.

Wonderful Christmas Away

My family and I stayed here for the week of Christmas- the kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything we needed to cook and host Christmas dinner. The house is very spacious, clean, and well taken care of. Location is excellent- we walked into town often. Highly recommend if you are visiting Santa Fe!

Lovely Southwestern ambiance

Great location near downtown and yet very private spaces, indoors and outdoors; highly functional kitchen and useful guidebook when we went out for meals; interesting artwork, books, and other amenities for discovery.

Great time away

We had a great stay at this property with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. The location is great, clean and cozy vacation home. Make sure to read through the entire manual as their are many features of the home. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Santa Fe.

My family loved this house - the check in process was a bit frustrating because we were missing a check in document from Kokopelli, but I called them twice within ten minutes for two separate questions and they answered the phone promptly. Home was clean, and air conditioning worked well

I had a wonderful stay here with family. The property and home is absolutely beautiful and so convenient. Very well maintained. Be aware that the fourth bedroom is up some steep stairs, smelled stale, wasn't very inviting and didn't have a bathroom up there. So, we didn't really felt it met our needs and ended up not using it. However, that didn't impact my enjoyment of the home and property. Just a FYI. Five stars!

My favorite VRBO in Santa Fe

Our family has been coming to Santa Fe for many years. This home met our needs better than any place we have stayed in the past. It is truly representative of all the things that make one feel as if they are in a different country which is one reason we love Santa Fe. It has a great location near the plaza and Ft. Marcy park for kids. It is tastefully decorated, well appointed and has every amenity that we look for in a luxury property. It is apparent that the owners take great pride in this historic gem.In the future we will always look to stay at this property if available.

Reclusion in Santa Fe

Wonderful location for extended weekend family reunion. So convenient and often within walking distance of downtown. Beautiful house that has retained much of the character over the years. Really enjoyed the space and serenity. Everything was clean and well presented! Thanks!

Beautiful and comfortable

A beautiful home with comfortable spaces for eating, cooking, family time, and private time. Very well kept home, clean, with many nice small touches. A small maintenance issue was quickly addressed. An easy walk to the center of town made this a wonderful place to stay.

Best place for a large group

Fantastic property! Photos are realistic and the property is true to the Santa Fe vibe. The property is fully stocked with all the necessities for kitchen and comfort for the house. We enjoyed all the various spaces for sitting, reading, and hanging out together. Property owner was very clear with communications, instructions, and helpful tips for the area. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there in the future.

Santa Fe charmer

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property in Santa Fe. The home and garden are absolutely charming. The house is full of pieces and whimsical art reflecting the Santa Fe lifestyle. The garden was full of hanging bird feeders attracting many bird including a pair of orioles that we enjoyed watching in the morning. Would highly recommend this property!

Sibling weekend in Sant Fe

We enjoyed our long weekend in Santa Fe. We had 6 adults and this house suited our needs well. It was a very short drive to downtown. The house was clean and everything is well labeled. The only hiccup was that the door code was not provided in any of the checkin information, but luckily one of our party arrived before the office closed at 5pm and was able to call and get that information.

Vintage Santa Fe

A large older home but exceptionally well-maintained and well-equipped with modern amenities. Casually landscaped grounds, but cared for and enjoyable, plants and birds. Hot tub advertised but it wouldn't be high on a list. Close to downtown though not easily walkable. Plenty of room for our 4 guests, though only 2 bathrooms

Perfect Santa Fe home

Our family has stayed in many rentals and hotels in Santa Fe over the years. This one has been the best. The home is large and comfortable. Easy walking distance to the Plaza. The off-street, gated parking was a huge bonus in this busy part of town. The property is around the corner from a park with playground, which the kids loved. Easy access to major roads, too, but the property itself is cozy and quiet. Very nice kitchen, beautiful garden, large common areas, a few fun games and puzzles available for the kids. We will look here first when we return again.
