Desert Sky is a sweet retreat perfectly located for your upcoming visit to Santa Fe. The owners attentively remodeled the home with hand-painted and carved doors and one-of-a-kind antique furniture.



LIVING AREA

The living room features an authentic kiva fireplace, wood beam vigas, a comfortable seating area for four with a leather sofa, and a flat-screen TV. HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and Starz are provided by the homeowner.



KITCHEN AND DINING

The fully-equipped kitchen has high-end appliances, lovely wooden cabinets, granite counters, and a dishwasher. It is adjacent to the patio and the dining table for convenient access to both dining settings.



BED AND BATH

Both bedrooms offer queen beds. The bathroom has stunning Mexican tile and is situated between the bedrooms in a Jack and Jill layout.



OUTDOOR SPACE

Desert Sky has two beautiful patios. The patio off of the kitchen features shaded dining for four, a BBQ, and a charming bench seat. The front patio is beautifully planted and includes a small fountain.

- This two-bedroom home is 600 sq. ft. Storage is limited in cabinets and closets, so make sure to pack light.

- This home is dog-friendly (for stays shorter than 14 nights) with an additional $150 fee, however dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Any pet hair found on the furniture may result in additional cleaning fees.

- The fireplace is available from October 15th - April 15th.

All good accept the tv had to be restarted several times a night. If there were two more people to utilize the second bed the overall space would not be big enough.Recommend turning the second bedroom into extra space for the living room and kitchen

Enjoyed the small space. Loved the art on the walls. The kitchen was well supplied and we cooked meals there. Met the owners and they were very pleasant. The outdoor areas were well kept with flowers and plants. Only problem was the WiFi was slow and the tv kept buffering so could watch it much.

We were very pleased with the space. The living area was a bit small, but big enough for us. And the fireplace was a plus. Bathroom was spacious and the bedrooms were spacious as well. The outside area was lovely as well. The location was perfect. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and walking along the river. Susan was very welcoming and lovely to talk to. Hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. Comfortable beds and all the supplies you would need! Safe and cozy. We will definitely be back.

This is one of, if not the nicest, places we have stayed. It’s perfect for two adults. It’s gorgeous and it’s easy to see that the host is an artist with great taste. It’s a quick 10 minute walk to downtown and perfect location as we were there for the Indian Market. We met the hosts who were sweet as can be, and they left sample of chocolate, lotions as well as tortilla chips and salsa. The location is in the back of the property, so was very quiet and the property is located across from a park. I’ve stayed at places which have been described as clean, but Dos Casitas actually was clean, I think the cleanest place I’ve stayed at. There is a washer/dryer and detergent there, a kitchen, a living room with cable TV, WiFi. It was beyond perfect for our short stay.

Nice property

Cozy but big enough for two. Walking distance to Railyard and nice walking path along the river. Living area chairs are pretty but not comfortable. Parking requires you to back out onto a busy street with limited visibility. WiFi didn’t work day we departed. Overall enjoyed it.

Great Little Spot in Santa Fe

We (3 adults) stayed here for a few nights for my mom's birthday trip. Although the couch is not sleepable, we doubled up in one bed and found the place to be very comfortable. Its a sweet little ADU behind the residence, close enough to the plaza that we could have walked, with almost no street noise and off street parking. Check in and out was straightforward and the property manger was communicative and helpful with anything we needed. We'd definitely stay again.

Perfect Santa Fe Downtown Dog Friendly Stay

The property was perfect for our needs! Beautifully appointed, quiet, and within walking distance of the Plaza in Santa Fe. We loved our stay. It is a lovely property with so much attention to detail. The location is walking distance to the plaza. There is a small patio which was a nice private outdoor space. We would definitely recommend staying.

Cute casita

Original plan was 3 adults but thank goodness only 2 stayed. Listing states air conditioning and I called managers to ask if it was central air. I was told it was but arrived to find one window unit that worked properly. Other bedrooms AC was located in a laundry closet. The floor heater was on without any information about it making the entire house heated in late June! We requested fan but it came late the next day. Owners of property were out of town but very apologetic when they returned. Managing company was useless.

Perfect stay

The Desert Sky retreat is a beautifully appointed house decorated in an authentic and artistic Santa Fe style. It is quiet, comfortable and very clean, with a small charming outdoor patio off the well stocked kitchen. The hosts even provided a welcome package of local Santa Fe coffee, snacks and a bottle of wine. The house is in a perfect location. A grassy river walk is just across the street, perfect for walking our dog. Several great restaurants are within walking distance and the Santa Fe plaza is just a .6-mile walk away. We truly enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
