Casa Garvey is a beautiful casita in an idyllic setting. Twelve minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza, both far enough yet near enough to the city to be just perfect, set in an attractive development of the Tesuque foothills two miles above Tesuque Village, ten minutes from the Santa Fe Opera. Across from the entrance to the development is the Four Seasons Luxury Resort, Rancho Encantado. The casita has the charm of the classic Santa Fe style, with transformed kitchen and baths. It's wonderfully comfortable in all seasons, with delightful patios to enjoy in the warmer months and Kiva coziness when the weather turns cooler. From the spacious patio take in the gorgeous views of the high desert hills and beautiful mountains. Santa Fe Baldy is in view, and an incredible nighttime sky. Beauty and serenity abound while being minutes away from restaurants, galleries, shopping, and plenty of outdoor activities.

Just what we needed!! A mother/daughter weekend!Loved the views and amenities. Our hikes at Kasha Katuwe National Monument, trailheads near Ski Santa Fe and very close to the Vrbo were great. Driving to the square was an easy 15 minute drive and the parking garage there was an easy maneuver!

Only 10-15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe, this location is convenient to town but feels like you're far into the countryside. Love the house, the patio, the kitchen, the living areas, etc. We will visit again.

Mesa Encantado “San Felipe” is a truly wonderful retreat just outside of Santa Fe. We had easy access to the city and the many nearby natural wonders (hikes, national monuments). And when we returned to the house, we were able relax either in the beautiful and comfortably appointed house or at the nearby pool. A great place in a great place.

Quiet Retreat in Beautiful New Mexico

If you are looking for a quite location to relax and serve as a base for exploring New Mexico, look no further. The home is a short drive north of Santa Fe so you get the convenience of town along with the peaceful, natural beauty of the area. The unit was beautifully appointed in every way - new appliances, dishware, utensils, comfy beds, TVs, washer-dryer. Nestled in the beautiful New Mexico country-side and just fifteen minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza – truly the best of both worlds. This property is very well furnished and has all the amenities you would need for a visit of a few days or an extended stay. Upscale Santa Fe Resort Rental

Our hosts communication was outstanding from the check-in process, to the onsite amenities, places to visit and checklist of the things to be done before leaving. This is a great place to visit and just relax that is about 15 minutes north of Santa Fe, with beautiful Mountain views. The rental was beautiful and exactly as described. Perfect blend of quiet and city access

We did a family Thanksgiving with our college age children and the property worked perfectly. We needed to check in a day early to avoid bad travel weather and the hosts were more than accommodating. We enjoyed the quiet of the property and the simple access to Santa Fe and its attractions. The kitchen was outfitted very well and fully supported a Thanksgiving meal. We will definitely return should we visit Santa Fe again.

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Santa Fe

We came out to Santa Fe for some skiing and sightseeing. We travel a lot and all I can say is that this was probably the best place we've ever stayed at. The home is in a beautiful and peaceful location. The home itself was beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. Communication with owner was perfect. Without a doubt we'd enthusiastically recommend it to everyone. We'd definitely stay here again next visit!

Secluded yet close to town

This place was the perfect place to spend time during our first trip to Santa Fe. It was just enough out of town for the secluded feeling that we wanted but just minutes to town and activities. The house was beautifully appointed with everything you could want/need. Although it was a bit cold for us to enjoy the patio is beautiful and a perfect place to enjoy the sunshine and views. Tim was great at communicating and made everything easy.

5 stars all the way!

This house checked all of the boxes for us. The location is private and very quiet. I walked each morning around the neighborhood, which is surrounded by trees and mountains, very safe and the few people (and dogs) I met were friendly. Top things I liked include: -the 2 min drive to 4 seasons for happy hour deals with a sunset view -the short drive to Santa Fe to sightsee at the Plaza -the brick flooring which is perfect for yoga -the large and new mattresses on the beds (this is always a sign of an owner who cares) -the fully stocked kitchen. It's great to be able to have dinner in and watch a movie after a day of walking. This was an easy rental that met all of our needs and was a great value, allowing us the perfect balance of busy city access and quiet country luxury. The only downside was that it's winter so the outdoor pool isn't open...but really this just means we will have to come back again in the summer!! :) 5 stars all the way
