Il Seccatoio – Independent rustic house with valley view and natural pool

  • The old squeegee, once the place where the chestnuts were dried, is now a comfortable stone house of 50 square meters.
    The house is located in a beautiful landscape, with a breathtaking view of Mount Amiata and offers space for 2-4 people.
    On the first floor there is a bedroom under the ancient roof. On the ground floor a large bathroom, a kitchen and a large living room with a sofa bed for 2 people. Behind the house there is a terrace with barbecue, dining table and hammock, all under a pergola covered with wisteria.
    In front of the house a small covered terrace to enjoy the sunset.
    Il Seccatoio was renovated in 2007 with lots of love and great attention to detail.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Mensch und Tier empfangen. Das Häuschen ist wunderschön und total gemütlich. Geschirr , Besteck, Töpfe und Pfannen waren ausreichend vorhanden. Alles wie in der Beschreibung zu lesen ist. Es ist , bei kühleren Temperaturen , schnell aufgeheizt . Die Gegend ist super um ganz viel zu entdecken . Wir sind nicht so die Stadtgänger und sind sehr viel gewandert mit immer neuen Zielen . Wir wurden nie enttäuscht. Wir waren : Monte Amiata, Monte Labbro, Monte Argentario ( Porto Santo Stephano am Meer ) Lago di Bolsena, Orvieto, Vulci, Pitigliano, Manciano, Monte Merano, Magliano, Santa Fiora, Arcidosso (da war das Kastanienfest und es war sehr sehr schön und soooo lecker) ! Im Herbst durch die bunten Farben und das besondere Licht einfach zauberhaft ! Rita und Peter sind gut erreichbar, und wenn sie mal nicht da sind geht alles prima per WhatsApp. Oswaldo ist mein neues Lieblingstier aber auch die Hunde und die Katzen haben ein freundliches Gemüt . Wir verbrachten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und nehmen viele schöne Eindrücke mit nach Hause

Individueller Urlaub in der südlichen Toskana

Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in unserem kleinen süßen Toskana-Häuschen in sehr schöner Lage. Es gab einige kleine Minuspunkte, die zwar unseren Urlaub nicht massiv beeinträchtigt haben, die aber doch erwähnenswert und verbesserungswürdig sind: so süß die Katzen und Hunde in der Anlage waren, so unschön war aber der Hundekot, der überall rumlag, wo man aufpassen musste, dass man nicht reintritt. Desweiteren war die Ausstattung von funktionierenden Lampen im Haus sehr dürftig ( im Schlafzimmer hängt das Lampenkabel über dem Bett aus der Wand, was nicht ganz ungefährlich ist ). Außerdem war das Außenmobiliar in einem äußerst schlechten Zustand. Wir hatten häufiger vergeblich Versuche gestartet, unseren Vermietern diese Dinge mitzuteilen, aber sie waren dann jeweils nicht greifbar. Auch die Müllentsorgung war uns nicht klar geworden, da die offiziellen Müllbehälter in Santa Fiora für unseren Eindruck nur mit Karten nutzbar waren. So haben wir unseren Müll in der Gegend rumgefahren, ohne ihn loszuwerden. Erst am Ende trafen wir unsere Vermieter an und konnten ( viel zu spät ) unsere Ärgernisse loswerden. Im Vordergrund stand letztendlich aber die sehr idyllische und mit viel Liebe ausgestattete Anlage sowie ein toller Urlaub mit vielen unvergesslichen Eindrücken. Brigitte & Stephan

Noahs Arche in den Bergen Toscanas

Liebe Rita und Peter, jetzt,nach Ende unserer Toscana-Rundreise, wollen wir euch für die vier schönen Tage in eurem seccatoio bedanken. Wir hatten uns eingebildet die Toscana recht gut zu kennen,haben aber bei euch eine ganz neue Facette kennenlernen dürfen.Traumhafte Landschaft,wie wir sie nur aus der Garfagnana kennen,blühende Wiesen mit wilden Orchideen und Millionen von Blumensowie die Ginsterblüte und kleine autentische Ortschaften abseits der Menschenströme.Wir haben auf unserer Fahrt rund um den Monte Amiata Rehe und einen sehr zutraulichen Fuchs getroffen. Die Gesellschaft eurer Katzen,Hunde,(weniger die sehr lauten Enten und Hühner),sowie die Hauskröte mit ihrem" Gesang" fanden wir sehr liebenswert.Euer Gastgeschenk,den tollen Wein, haben wir sehr genossen,vielen Dank. Das Haus ist für 2 Leute ideal,die Kühle ist bestimmt im Sommer ein grosser Vorteil.Küche und Wohnzimmer mit der herrlichen Aussicht waren zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das gemütliche Schlafzimmer hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Den etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Grill haben wir nicht benutzt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und danken euch für die schöne Zeit. Lieben Gruss-Heidelore Gottsmann
