Casa Colibrì is an apartment with a completely new style that closely reflects the background of its renovators. I, Valerio Gruessner (Italian German), work in the tourism industry (I run an Italian language school in Cefalù) and have lived for many years in Bologna, Berlin, and Sydney. Chloé Pierron, my partner, is from Paris and is an architect and interior designer. The apartment is called Colibrì because we both love nature, especially tropical countries. On one of our trips to Mexico, we came across one of these little birds, and that's how the little mystery was solved : )

To reach my apartment, simply walk down the main road in Santa Flavia. If you're coming from the airport, take the bus to Palermo Centrale and then the train to Santa Flavia. PLEASE NOTE: On the Trenitalia website, you must enter Solunto (unfortunately, this little bug has been around for years). If you're coming from elsewhere and have a car, I recommend exiting the highway at Casteldaccia. Take the SS 113 towards Palermo and after about 3 km, you'll see signs to the right for Santa Flavia. If you'd like to get around by bicycle (which is definitely recommended), I can help you rent one (even electric ones).
