"The house and grounds were completely amazing. As described, the road was a bit rough getting up to the house (100% expected) and we got a flat upon arrival (which was a fluke). Jeison met us at the house that night and even came back to replace the tire the next morning (even after we told him he didn’t have to). Everything was clean, the views were amazing, and we loved waking up in the rainforest. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked kitchens we’ve experienced. Jeison provided some places to see and local tours which led to us meeting more people and scheduling even more tours. The house was very private and we felt welcomed, even when we got a bit rowdy singing and playing music. I agree with other reviewers in saying the property was very safe and we left the doors open all week. Make sure to keep food put away as you are staying in an area with critters (ants). We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay on our first trip to Costa Rica. Some things we learned:the town closes down at 9 but they’ll continue to serve drinks if you’re friendly. Everyone is super friendly and knowing conversational Spanish will go a long way. Stock up at BM. Have a decent 4wd. Relax! We would definitely come back to this place and Jeison made our stay effortless and we loved knowing he was around. Also, the beaches are rough(we are from the east coast US) but found that playa ventanas was the perfect hangout spot."

"Tiki Villas is a beautiful place with very helpful and friendly staff. Ana and William helped ensure our stay was comfortable and booked an excursion to Corcovado which was a lovely day adventure and a dinner reservation in Uvita. We loved relaxing with a delicious drink by the pool. Jose made a refreshing lemongrass and ginger tea that was my favorite. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner- kudos to the chef in particular for the catch of the day and the French toast. Fernanda and Brandon and Jose were kind servers and nice to talk to. The entire staff was welcoming and went above and beyond communicating through whats app and making sure we had everything we needed, like preparing breakfast to go when we had an early morning start. The hotel has a lovely view and comfortable accommodations. We had four wonderful nights here and would love to stay again!"

"Our stay at MadreSelva was amazing. We were a bit nervous about having Carolina and Rume around the house during the week but they took care of the house and grounds beautifully and discreetly. We hardly knew the were there and yet took care of our breakfast and did light housekeeping and laundry during the week. It made our trip that much more pleasurable.All the previous homes we've stayed in provided A/C in the bedrooms of which we were hoping for; however, the two front bedrooms definitely did not need A/C. The back bedrooms didn't get the same air flow but there were portable fans in the rooms to help keep the air flowing.Overall, I would give this home a 5-star rating. There was plenty of space for our party of 10 people so we could spread out. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The bedrooms had comfortable beds (I would suggest replacing some or all of the pillows as they were quite flat), and overall comfortable living areas indoors and outdoors. The view was incredible and the house is quite secluded which is a huge plus! We would definitely stay at this home again!"

"The property is fantastic with the most amazing view of the city and Whale tail. Conveniently located to Catarata Uvita (waterfalls) and several wonderful restaurants nearby (you must try Seba’s!). We also enjoyed the Whale Tail brewery. Property owner was very helpful and Jeison (the manager) was a really nice guy too. Would definitely stay again! "
