"Beautiful home with excellent views. Very comfortable stay. We really appreciated the quick and easy communication with the host. It had everything we needed for our trip. Hot tub was easy to use and just what we needed at end of the day. One tiny complaint was the dust that was falling down from the fan in the kitchen. Huge chucks of dust were falling everywhere and onto the table we were eating at. Also the air vent in middle of the house is very dusty as well. Hopefully a quick wipe down of theses areas will make someones next stay perfect! Thank you again"

"The country farmhouse was extremely charming. It was super close to all the action in downtown Fredericksburg while giving you that nice country feel. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after long hikes. It was amazing to sit out under the stars. We also took the trails down to the river and around the property. Be sure to look for the boneyard! Sharon was an amazing host. You must try her homemade buttermilk syrup! It is amazing. Highly recommend!"

"Great little place to stay! Host was incredibly responsive and I would definitely recommend the property. Cooking is microwave only and the highway sounds (tire noise only) are substantial, otherwise we were very pleased. Bed is extremely comfortable! Hot tub is great - well maintained and no strange odors like many tubs. Nice porch for early/late day conversations. Nice cats. Axis deer with fawns in the yard the first day."

"This place was a great location for a mini getaway for relaxation. The view to the little creek in the back with all the trees and chirping birds makes it feel like you're away in the woods. The time response from owner was also on point. They answered all the questions I had. If there was something I can recommend for the owner would be to let your guest know that the hot tub, if drained that day, would not be ready until the following evening. We were excited to sit out back Friday evening and enjoy the hot tub but due to having to empty out the hot tub for cleaning it took a whole 24 hours for it to heat up nicely. Also, even when it was heated, the hot tub did not stay hot that long. I understand a couple degrees to be lost without the cover but it went down significantly. We still enjoyed our time and would probably return. "

"Beautiful ranch with plenty of rolling hills and wildlife. The cabin was cozy and the temperature dropped on our last night so we were able to start a fire in the fireplace which added to the ambiance of our anniversary getaway. It's located just a short drive from Fredericksburg. My only suggestion would be a new mattress for the full size bed downstairs because it was a bit uncomfortable for us but we slept better on the queen size bed upstairs. We used the canoe to paddle around the pond and watched the ducks swim around. We liked sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and looking out over the hills and valleys. Overall a great place to relax and enjoy our vacation. The owner is very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend for couples. "
