"Beautiful outside area/views/trees and plants. Definitely a place where you will want to spend most of your time outdoors! Appreciated this even more after seeing other properties where gardens were sparse. It felt very private (although there is a property next door - not sure whether this is in use). We spent a lot of time at the property and I found the outdoor chairs uncomfortable towards the end of the stay. Mid-may was cooler and much more windy than I expected."

Very friendly, helpful and generous hosts. One potential downside of the property is that it is on a busy road. "The place is just as wonderful as it looks. We rented it for our family of 5. It was clean, conveniently located, roomy, beautiful, etc. The pool is a plus on those warmer afternoons. Guiseppe’s parents showed us to the villa and were very kind and helpful. There was a big bowl of fresh fruits waiting for us and whatever fruit in season growing on trees, we were able to eat. "We echo all the good comments and give this place an A+ for location, cleanliness, elegance (ironed linens!!), and friendliness. We stayed here while "working from home", so not having WiFi was challenging... yet, the view, proximity to restaurants (and yet quiet setting), etc., more than made up for it. Not advisable for those who cannot/dislike walking uphill as it is a nice steep walk from the beach but... hey, a cardio workout is nice, especially when followed up by a shower... outdoors!...

The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"The atmosphere of the castle was absolutely beautiful. You’re in an ancient castle yet everything is so pristine and high tech. The rooms are luxurious, the bed is so comfortable, and everything is clean and well kept. It’s cozy, quant, magnificent, and grand all at the same time. The service was fantastic. We would WhatsApp Mirko or whoever was at the front desk whenever we needed anything. They were always so accommodating and on point with their recommendations. They make everything very easy by making reservations and mapping out cities for you. We would definitely love to go back. Highly recommend! "
