Hotel Santa Teresa by the Beach

10/10 Excellent

"We had the room 401 with a very nice balcony and view on the sea. The king bed was awesome and we used the kitchen basics. Good coffee machine. The pool was clean and ideal for hot days. The breakfast was delicious and efficient; shout out to the team!! Excellent job. The beach is walking distance. I just wish the surroundings of the hotel was a little bit cleaner (dog poop on the sidewalks for example). I enjoyed the free purified water machine, ice and coffee always available; best feature of all my hotels in Costa Rica. Some light touch ups are required : the tile in the bathroom was broken and my son cut himself on it. Overall, would recommend!!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Emerald Abode. It has a great location looking over the ocean, while also enjoying the animal life in the jungle. April was a great host. She gave us good recommendations on what to do, and provided help when we needed it."

"Very unique beach front property with quaint bungalows, beach access, very nice pool, yoga studio and adjacent spa. The food at the beach front farm to table restaurant was excellent and all of the staff were very professional, kind, helpful and attentive. Loved the included breakfast and free yoga class. Close to other restaurants and stores in Santa Teresa. Great location, beautiful beach and amazing sunsets! Pura Vida!"

"What a beautiful place! The view from our room was amazing, private view to the ocean. The room is super spacious, private and clean. One day I stayed in the hotel just to enjoy its beauty of the place. Its on top of the hill, and the way up is quite steep, so for sure you need a car to get there and down."

"My daughter and I planned a girls trip and we couldn’t have been happier. The staff, shoutout to Sebastian and Karla, could t have been more knowledgeable and helpful. Harry the GM gave us a lot of good suggestions for local spots. We went fishing and caught mahi mahi and yellow fin and Chef made us some amazing meals from that catch. Memories for a lifetime!"
