This was an excellent choice to stay in Porto! The location was excellent for walking to the market and much of the historic district. Rita was so helpful for getting us all checked in with our group's different arrival times.

The property is in a central location with many restaurants around , walking distance to main attractions. Room was nice enough. Staff are pleasant. Breakfast could be good for most people. It is heavy on pastries and the eggs are not great. My main problem was the bed. I was not comfortable and did not sleep well. Also there is significant noise coming from surrounding bars on Saturday nights until 2 am. Other nights were ok but I did use earplugs.

"We were privileged to stay in this palace. When driving up to the building you get a feeling for the grandure, but on entering the reception it's jaw droppingly impressive. The staff were very helpful and happy to share their knowledge of the history of the building. The breakfast was excellent. ..."
