"This hotel was not a good experience. The staff was not friendly and our checkin was very cold. We had to literally go outside to get to our hotel room. It was in a different building. And when we wanted to open our curtains in our room, the outdoor dining area was right there staring in at us. "

"This is by far the worst Sofitel I have stayed at. The property is dated and dark. Rooms are small and staff are not helpful or welcoming. In my room, safe was not open, hand wash and conditioner bottles were empty and body wash pump was broken. The HVAC was not working and the room was unpleasantly hot. The mattress was damaged and uneven. My visit was short before an early flight but I could hardly get any sleep due the room condition. I would not recommend staying at this hotel."

"The hotel is the perfect combination of old world meets modern. The outside is so quaint and fits with the old world style of the city. The inside is this new modern look that is clean and welcoming. The staff is the best part of this hotel. They are so friendly and helpful. The highlight of the staff was the bar tender Pedro. We was so fun to talk to and so accommodating. A wonderful human being. The room was laid out a little weird for us. The bathroom is an in the room style bathroom. Just a piece of glass separated the shower and bath from the room. There is no privacy or shielding from someone using the shower or sink. The toilet is in a small closet with no fan and you can hear everything. The lighting in the room is awkward with all scene style switches. So the lights are on that you don’t want on when others turn on. I would prefer individual switches so as not to disturb your partner while they are sleeping. The breakfast was an outstanding European style for an included breakfast. Overall the stay was great and the location is so close to the shopping district but is tucked away for that smaller hotel experience."

"With a super location to explore Lisbon, the hotel provides luxurious comfort at the end of a day of walking. Our twin room was airy, bright and had everything you needed. Breakfast buffet was great and worth upgrading the stay. All staff we spoke to were very friendly and polite and sincerely wanted to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Book it. You wont be disappointed!"
