5 star staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Google and hotels.com said this is a 2 star hotel however compared to other 2 star hotels I’ve been to, this is a hidden gem of a hotel. It is in a great location, close to nearby facilities like a laundromat, bakery, shops and the beach. The rooms were spacious and modern without the large price tag. Akis, his wife and his new receptionist are such lovely people and welcoming and made our visit to Kamari wonderful.

Best hotel in Santorini!

Akis Hotel was perfect! I can't stress it enough that it was what made our trip. An overall great location, next to the 24 hour MegaMart for all your snack and beverage needs and a few paces away from a fantastic Cretan bakery. Their staff were so friendly, I would recommend it to anyone looking to feel at home in Santorini. Kamari was much quieter than Fira and Oia, (easier on the wallet too) and only a bus a way from the hustle and bustle. Akis Hotel was incredibly accommodating and had many great recommendations for eating out and island excursions. Kamari beach was the cherry on top, only a two minute walk down the road! We will definitely be staying there again our next visit to Santorini.

This superb family run hotel in a prime position is ideal for a stay in Kamari. Mr Akis and his team are lovely people. 100 yards from the beach, great restaurants to choose from on that small strip. Rooms spotless, great shower, comfy beds and aircon. Hotel can organise a cab to and from airport. No pool but there is the pool bar is opposite. Cant go wrong. Excellent stay. This was an amazing place to stay! Mr. and Mrs. Akis are so sweet and helpful. We call Mr. Akis, “El Capitan”. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, and I felt very safe. Anything we needed, the staff would help us. There were restaurants close by that served amazing food. The beach is walking distance. There is a mini market right next store for any little stuff you may need. There’s also a bakery at the corner, 30 seconds away from the hotel with delicious baked goods! I can’t say enough good stuff about this property. My family and I were sad to leave.

An excellent place and location, almost near to all places of interests like beach, restaurants, cafes, bakery, bars etc. The bus stop is about 10mins away on foot from the hotel. Still manageable to get transport in Santorini. I highly recommend and I shall come back

Mr Akis and his family was very nice. He help us setup the transportation from the airport to his hotel and the to the Port once we left. He recommended places to eat nearby and an excursion to another Island for sightseeing. I will recommend to stay here for people that are looking to be near a nice beach since is less than a block a way from it. In my opinion best beach to be in Santorini.

Ein toller Urlaub!

Unser Aufenthalt in Kamari war perfekt für die Woche die wir dort waren! Der Strand ist zu Fuß 1min entfernt und die Bushaltestelle nach Fira ist direkt vor der Türe. Sowohl Akis selbst, seine Frau und seine Tochter waren sehr freundlich und sind uns bei allen Fragen zur Seite gestanden und haben uns beraten. Das Zimmer war stilvoll eingerichtet und das Badezimmer (schätze ich) frisch renoviert so wie der Rest des Hotels.

Etablissement tres bien placé, juste a coté d'un supermarket, de l'arret de bus et de la plage. Chambre plutot sommaire, et mal isolée, mais toutefois propre. Le personnel est sympathique. Le point noir est le petit dejeuné, qui propose tres peu de choix, et pas top. Bref cet etablissement fera l'affaire si vous passez juste quelques jours sur l'ile, mais ne pas esperer plus que les 2 etoiles.
