Georges was very nice and welcoming. He came to get me at the airport when I arrived and he dropped me off at the port when I left (for a reasonable fee). The place is very quiet, very clean and peaceful. The location is quite convenient, at a 20-30 min walking distance from Fira town, where you can take local buses to anywhere on the island.

What a gem

What a delightful place to stay. Both George and Stella went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and help me with any requests I had. The hotel was clean. The room was spacious. The beds were so very comfortable. Great AC. Small fridge and large complimentary water. The pool was clean and cold, and the sun beds were comfy too! Sure there's no view of the caldera, but there's a bus stop just at the end of the street where you can get all buses except the Oia bus - so airport, Kamari, Perissa, Akrotiri etc so it's great for sightseeing. It's a 20ish minute walk to Fira centre. My only complaint (and to be fair, I didn't even say anything to George or Stella) they provided a kettle, cups, nescafe and sugar in the room but no tea bags and no milk or even creamer. But several good bakeries /coffee shops just a minute or two up the street. Oh and as for feeling safe? There is a huge police station on the other side of the street! Ha ha. Having said that, the walk home from Fira late at night was a little dark, and could feel a bit dodgy, but I never really felt unsafe at all.

The cleanest hotel ever. 15 minutes walk (or 2 minute bus ride) to avoid noisy Fira. Nice little swimming pool ( not heated so might be cool in may). Calm and relaxing place. Good breakfast places around

This was the perfect place .it was just outside of Fira,accessible by local bus. Restaurants with ease to walk to for breakfast. Breakfast could have been had,but i was unable to climb the stairs.

Host booked an excursion next day and then advised me to wait on cruise untill less wind. Is 2 minute walk to bus stop which is also by an absolutely delicious bakery. Can be a little loud in afternoon but quite evenings.

Ottima soluzione per visitare l'isola di Santorini senza pernottare nel caos di Fira. Pension Stella ha stanze molto pulite, è vicina alla fermata dei bus locali che portano ovunque, circondata da minimarket e taverne dove si mangia bene greco, e ha una piccola piscina interna in cui rinfrescarsi al mattino presto o al tramonto dopo una giornata tra spiagge e camminate.

Parfait pour un séjour à Santorin

Les propriétaires répondent très vite aux emails et proposent de venir nous chercher à l'aéroport, ils nous recommendent des visites, sont très disponibles. La chambre était propre et conforme, la piscine est clairement un plus. L'hôtel est très bien situé (dans un lieu calme mais à 15 minutes à pieds de Fija).

Ihana ihana ihana paikka ja hurmaavat omistajat!

Pension Stella on aivan ihana! Omistajat George ja Stella ovat todella sydämellisiä ihmisiä; he tekevät kaikkensa, että viihdyt täällä. Lentokenttäkuljetukset järjestyi helposti ja lokaatio on sopivasti pienen matkan päässä Firan tungoksesta. Karteradosin kylässä on kaikki palvelut; supermarketiin kävelee muutaman minuutin ja vastapäätä on yksi saaren parhaista ravintoloista. Bussilla pääsee helposti biitseille, jos kaipaa vaihtelua omalle poolille. Viisi tähteä!

Nous étions à quelques pas de l’arrêt d’autobus qui nous amène aux plages. Ou à Fira (Thira) pour s’y rendre ensuite pour prendre l’autobus pour aller à OIA ( considérer un 30 minutes d’autobus. Si vous allez à pied à Fira c’est 15 minutes !

Très bon séjour !

Notre séjour à Pension Stella s'est très bien déroulé. Les hôtes se sont montrés très accueillants, serviables et disponibles. L'hôtel est proche des commodités et bien centré sur l'île, ce qui permet un accès rapide à tous les coins de l'île en voiture. Par ailleurs, il se situe près d'un arrêt de bus desservant plusieurs villages et plages. Il se situe dans une rue calme. Le chambre est très bien entretenue et le ménage y est effectué quotidiennement. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement.

Un petit coin de paradis sur une île paradisiaque.

Our favourite place so far!!

My wife and I are travelling around the Cyclades for two months and this is by far our favourite stop so far! George picked us up from the port and straight away made us feel so welcome. George helped us throughout our trip with recommendations of bars and restaurants, and he booked our boat trip for us as well! The staff were so hard working and kept the place spotless throughout our stay and you can see how much pride they have in the place! They really do go above and beyond, we will be recommending Pension Stella to anyone who is travelling to Santorini! 10/10!!
