"Excellent stay in Aveiro. The room was beautiful, with a very comfortable, high-quality bed and luxurious linens. The details made all the difference. The restaurant offered delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere. However, the food took so long to arrive that by the time it was served, the latte or coffee was already cold. The staff seemed to spend quite a bit of time chatting between serving guests. This is not intended as a harsh complaint, but a high-end hotel of this caliber would benefit from more attentive and efficient restaurant service. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay."

"The appartement was as described and located in Ave. De Vasco Da Gama, nearby the market, Cafés, Bakery and a 3 minute walk to the beach.2 new bathrooms and modern furniture. Technical very well equipped, and absolutely clean. Beds were quite hard, but nontheless confortable to sleep for adults. The appartement had the typical seaside humidity that can be regulated by the aircondition in the bedrooms.Great, fast and nice communication by our host and help within 24 hours, when one of the 3 TVs was broken in the livingroom."

"You could not ask for a more interesting place to stay, with the accomodation and garden being full of character and pleasant surprises at every turn. Everything was as pictured and described. The rooms, lounge and kitchen are spacious and fully equipped. The location is scenic, peaceful and is great for discovering the region. BBH is handy for the nearby beaches, towns and places to eat, although unless you enjoy walking or cycling I would generally recommend a car despite good transport links...Francisco is a great host who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and is responsive to all queries and has lots of suggestions for things to do and see locally. Bubbles the Weimaraner is friendly and loves to see people too! Francisco's humour and enthusiasm for what he does certainly helped make a stay that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Pousada Ria - Aveiro. The hotel is beautifully situated by the water with lovely views of the ocean bay, and the building itself is nice and has a convenient parking lot. Our room was spacious, bright, and immaculately clean. The front desk representative was especially helpful and welcoming. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional as well. Overall, a very pleasant experience - we’d gladly return."
