"If you can spring for the river view, you should. This was such a beautiful place to stay. Waking up to the views was so amazing. Easy walk across the bridge to the Ribeira district to watch the sunset and have some good food. The spa was great. All in all, a great place to r&r"

"Great location away from the heavy crowds of Riberia. View from room was fantastic. Lots of things to explore on the Gaia side of the river, but close to the bridge to walk into town. Room could have been cleaner & bathroom had a sewer smell. Was expecting a little more from the breakfast based on the reviews but it did the job. Didn’t love how the sun lounger cushions were taken away at 6pm each night during the prime sunset lounging window - seemed unnecessary."

"This hotel is one of the best stays! The rooms are clean and they are cleaned early in the day so if you want to come back after lunch, you have a tidy room. The breakfast is excellent! Lots of choices and great coffee! The staff as well weee super helpful and nice. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"The hotel is a box as they tell you. Is a good adventure; one can rest as there is nothing in the room. I only had a one small backpack so no problem, there are lockers outside your room “box” to put the big luggage. It is quiet and an experience; good price and great location. One gets so tired of walking at Porto that you don’t need more than a great bed and a clean bathroom."
