"The room itself was spacious and clean. The rest of the property was dismal. Pools and hot tub seemed to grimy and dirty. The sand around the beach chairs had lots of garbage in it. The selection of food and quality was lacking as well. I ordered lasagna and had 2 pieces of bone in it. The outdoor bar area smelled like hot vomit. I couldn’t even go get a drink because of the smell."

"This beautiful resort offers excellent customer service, and all amenities are well-maintained. The beach is complimentary, and Sargasso is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend this resort, and we're sure to return to La Romana. "

"Front desk was super accommodating and was able to get us checked in a few hours earlier than expected. They were friendly, helpful and the room was so clean and modern. The european energy saving amenties and fixtures were a first for us and we loved it!"

"The room was clean and spacious with many amenities in the King Connect like kitchen, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry but some things are odd or broken. Like the laundry didnt have water turned on then we discovered the hot water hose leaked. The shower panel leaked a lot of water on the floor. They didn't have backup toilet paper in the room so easy to run out. The restaurant on the roof has beautiful view but don't eat dinner there - slow and poor food. Drinks and breakfast are OK. Overall it was a good location and good deal for the price. "
