This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located in beautiful Sapphire, NC between Cashiers and Lake Toxaway. Enjoy all the amenities of Sapphire Valley Resort and Fairfield Lake during your visit!

Take in the mountain views off the back covered deck that includes a gas fireplace, gas grill, and a flat screen tv. The living area includes soaring ceilings and a beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace (firewood included!).

The spacious master bedroom is located on the main level. Two additional guest bedrooms and a full bathroom are located upstairs. The lower level includes a game room (including a pool table and ping pong table) as well as the 4th bedroom and additional full bathroom.

You're only minutes from Red Bird Golf Course, indoor and outdoor swimming, lake, tennis, community game room, fitness center, hiking, waterfalls, restaurants, and breweries. Enjoy Sapphire Valley Ski Resort and Tubing Park during the winter months. You'll have to come back again and again to fit it all in!

The home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities (these amenities are not at the home). They are in a separate drive-able location. You may access amenities for $5 per day or $25 per week*. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, pool table, outdoor miniature golf, “Foot Golf”, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, walking track, picnic tables, firepit, gem mining, community center, organized excursions, a 9-hole (par 3) golf course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities, and discounts on lift tickets and rentals during ski season.

Fiber optic internet has been installed in our neighborhood which gives us very fast WiFi! Great for using all of your devices (and all of our smart TVs!). This is not available in all areas of the mountains so we’re excited about the addition! We also get great cell service.

This home has a ring door bell which includes a camera to monitor the exterior of our home.

Two twin size rollaway beds are included for additional sleeping spaces.

The closest grocery store is Ingles (6.4 miles).

Some of our favorite restaurants are Osteria Del Monte (2.8 miles), The Library Kitchen & Bar (4.4 miles), Canyon Kitchen (5.8 miles), Whiteside Brewery (7.2 miles), and The Greystone Inn (8.9 miles). Highlands also has a wide variety of delicious restaurants (17.5 miles). Please always be sure to contact the restaurant directly before visiting. Some restaurants in this area are seasonal and closed during certain months.

Panthertown (4.6 miles) and Gorges State Park (6 miles) both offer beautiful hiking.

*The current fee for the Sapphire Valley Resort amenity card is $5 per day or $25 per week, per person. The cost is controlled by the resort and subject to change.

Pet Policy: Exceptions to pet policy will be considered on a case-by-base basis. All pets must be house-trained, no exceptions. Any evidence of pet stains will result in additional fees. There are certain breed restrictions, so please send breed information along with your booking request. Thank you!

Excellent Stay!

Search no more! You have found the perfect place to stay. This house is spacious and cozy at the same time. We loved sitting around the wood-burning fireplaces (inside and outside) and playing pool downstairs. We cooked most of our meals at home and found the kitchen to be surprisingly well stocked. The proximity to the Sapphire Resort was perfect for our three teenagers. The online pictures accurately reflected the property, which is always a relief. The owners promptly responded to any questions we had. Enjoyable trip!

Great house in Shappire, NC!

Our family had a wonderful week in Shappire, NC! The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, a fire in the porch fireplace was delightful in the evening. We all enjoyed the amenities at the Shappire Valley Resort especially the lake. Highly recommend! Brooke Lowry was a great host!! Thank you again, Brooke!

Great Spring Break

We loved this property. The owners thought of every detail. The beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows. There were lots of blankets to make for cozy nights in front of the fireplace. There were plenty of games to play with the family. The location was close to anything anyone would want to do. I can’t stress enough how relaxing and comfortable this house is. We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

The house was amazing! Plenty of room for everyone, and it had all the essentials. Quiet, peaceful, and with plenty to do in the area. There was something for everyone—boating, fishing, hiking, swimming shopping. It was also close enough to Biltmore for a day trip. Whiteside Brewing is a must for a good meal. The chicken tenders and pretzel bites are amazing! Excellent communication with the host when questions arose. Would definitely recommend booking.

A Beautiful Place to Stay

We had a wonderful time in Sapphire. The house is nicely decorated and has everything you need. We have stayed in many vacation rentals, but this home was the best stocked with linens and cookware, and cleaning supplies. It was like staying someone’s home. The communication with the owner was great. The ping pong table and pool table was an added bonus for the grandchildren. The restaurant recommendations were greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this rental.

Outstanding Family Get Together Location

I was looking to book a pleasant, mountain home ideal for relaxation and some fun things to do for my grand kids. This was the perfect spot for that and more! We especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplaces as well as the ping-pong table and billiards table. The home was spacious and easily accommodated the needs of the 7 of us with room to spare. The owners obviously pay attention to the many small details that make for a special place to vacation. The owner was especially helpful and timely when I had questions. Highly recommended!

Family Getaway

The property was a big hit with our entire family (3 couples and 3 children). The beautiful wooded setting was exactly what we had in mind and the home could not have been better for our family gathering. Super clean, perfectly comfortable and very well appointed with everything we needed at the ready. I had the pressure of selecting the home for our family getaway, so I was thrilled when the other two couples joining us raved about how perfect the home was all weekend long. We spent the bulk of our time on the back decks which are well positioned in the surrounding tree canopy. The outdoor fireplace on the main deck was a very big hit! I highly recommend this lovely home, particularly if you have children or young people in your group. It's a wonderful home and a great place to get away from it all.

Absolutely fantastic!

The house was very clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen has many amenities that could make cooking a Thanksgiving meal a breeze. All the furniture was well taken care of and seemed mostly new. The beds are very comfortable. Lots of towel too. We enjoyed the location and view, relaxed on covered porches, played ping pong, and used the pool table in the basement. We also took advantage of nearby Sapphire Country Club which has something for everyone including 3 pools, tennis, and a workout facility just to name a few. Hiking is very close by as well. The house is well insulated, rustic with lots of windows, and we definitely would stay here again. -Sharon R.

Very Child Friendly & great Wi-Fi

We stayed a week as multi-generation family reunion. We all rented Houses in the area and this one was the best for my situation. I had to do remote work so the reliability of the Wi-Fi & cell service was was extremely important and I was not disappointed. Kitchen well stocked. My husband and I had our own bedroom & bathroom on the lowest level with the pool table, my mother-in-law stayed on the main floor in the master suite and did not have to go up and down the stairs. My daughter and her husband stayed upstairs and put their children in other upstairs bedroom. The house is very safe for children. We brought our own baby gate as the two staircases are the main hazard. I would stay again. Lovely home & lovely host.

Cousin Time in the Mountains

This was a great house to combine our two families. Four adults, four cousins, age 8-12, and 1 small Australian Labradoodle thoroughly enjoyed the home. The lower level/basement set up was perfect for the kids to hang out, play pool and ping pong, and play video games. The upper outdoor deck and fire was perfect for evening talks and roasting s'mores. TV's in every room made watching sports and movies very easy. We did enjoy the Sapphire Valley golf, tennis and pickle ball as well as the kayaks and paddle boards at Fairfield Lake. The other amenities such as the game room, fitness center and pool at the Sapphire Valley Resort, were somewhat disappointing. Also, the neighborhood is very steep and wooded, which made it somewhat difficult to walk the dog, but we remedied that by driving her to the track at the resort center. The area kept us busy with hikes and even a trip for white water rafting. The home overall was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The home owner was extremely responsive and communicated well. Overall, it was a great experience for all of us.

Sweet Hickory is a sweet spot

We enjoyed a long fall weekend with our family at Sweet Hickory. Everyone had plenty of room and the outdoor deck with fireplace was an awesome spot to spend time together. The property is easy to get to and had plenty of parking space. The host was very communicative.

Our family and friends loved this home as much as we do. Easily accommodated the 8 adults in our group. The management company responded quickly to a small plumbing issue and to our request for additional firewood. Would highly recommend this property!

Fantastic Vacation Home

This property is wonderful with everything to make your stay comfortable, cozy and to cook for a group. The kitchen had everything you need, including a gas stove. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were awesome and the outdoor fireplace was stunning. The view is beautiful and having access to amenities at Sapphire Valley Resort was fun. Hiking trails not far, along with easy access to Cashiers. Our host was very responsive and friendly.
