"Room was clean except for the trim it was very dirty. Bathroom was extremely small and the shower made a noise when water was on. They did not make the bed only emptied the garbage and brought new towels in. Lobby and pool were very nice. I thought rooms would be updated like the lobby and since the website said they were remodeled in 2022. They had no TV listings and told me to look up Comcast in Sarasota for channels. They really only had maybe 6 channels. For a cheaper stay it wasn’t bad because we weren’t in the room a lot but I would not stay again. "

"We traveled here for a wedding and stayed at the Embassy. Location was good and front desk staff was nice and that about it. We checked in late around 10pm because our flight was delayed. When we got to the room, we were surprised how dark it was there. Bedroom had only one lamp on the wall. I had to use my phone flashlight to find things in my suitcase. We were tired so went straight to bed. Next morning we’ve noticed how outdated the furniture in the living area were, sofa was dirty. Shower/ tub was dirty. Floor was very sticky. There were no tissues in the box. One of the Beds was very uncomfortable. Cleaning service doesn’t understand English at all. And on top of all expensive parking. Not sure if all rooms are in this condition or just those booked through Expedia. We didn’t use any amenities they offered. Would not be returning "

"I deliberated giving a review as don’t want to appear picky or infer we didn’t have a nice time as that wasn’t the case, however we booked based on the continued 10 star reviews, but to us we thought more like a 7 to 8 having spent a solid month on property.Let’s be clear:Enjoyed our stay, the house was cute, safe and fun with the absolute best part being the backyard and swimming pool which was an awesome oasis.But we wouldn’t come again.Fit and finish was disappointing for the price, shabby chic - a little money spent on the fundamentals such as plates, cutlery would go a long way for short money, more annoying but not game changing.The issue for us was location, we chose as close to everything but the actual proximity to major roads where the traffic was insane (google Sarasota traffic accident locations and stats) - sirens during the day and motorbikes screaming early morning and at night. A 8 lane, 45mph artery with a stream of red light and speed cameras.Yes - Our experience was tainted by a no fault fender bender - but that just compounded the traffic issue.Personally we won’t return to Sarasota because of the traffic, this is not the fault of the house but its location had definite pros and cons.In summary - Worth the price, if that’s where the market is at. Had fun - Yes. But not for us again I’m afraid, the traffic was too much location wise, something I’d never have thought about without feet on the ground, but now I’ll be much more careful."

"Even though the hotel states the rooms have been refurbished they were just lack luster. The shower had mildewed caulk. The pictures on the walls were of cats and birds and were hung crooked. I could not open the curtains all the way so it was a bit claustrophobic. The rooms only had espresso makers and if you wanted a just cup of coffee you had to buy it. The staff was very friendly. "
