Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake Hotel

"Enjoyed our two night stay. The room was a good size as well as the bathroom. The sheets were luxurious as were the pillows which we appreciated. The air conditioner went at full blast which made it difficult to regulate the temperature…… it was either too cold or too hot but we dealt with it. The first night we ate at the restaurant on-site; the food was excellent as was the server. We ate the complimentary free breakfast there the second day and found the variety of cold and hot food to be excellent. Overall, we felt the price for the hotel to be expensive for the latter part of September in comparison to equatable places we stayed at. The parking was great. It was the end of our vacation so we paid it, had it been the front end of our vacation we would have looked for something more reasonable. With taxes, we ended up paying almost $450 per night which is crazy expensive for a Best Western as far as we are concerned. Loved the place but too expensive, especially as the season draws to an end. I wouldn’t stay here again based on the high price."

"Fantastic location for visiting Halifax. Has a restaurant inside the hotel for morning coffee and quick grabs eats. I think they also have a sit down option too but we were too busy. Close to everything in the downtown area. Comfy beds too."

"Well it's in the North end of the city, great Italian cafe few doors down on the Agricola side of building, eclectic property. Staff nice , i appreciate it is more reasonable in price . It's perfect if you are a tourist ."
