Prince George Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had an wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and conventient to the downtown and waterfront areas. The happy hour on the patio is also a very nice touch."
"We loved everything about this property. The pricing was excellent for our stay in July. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the (hot!) included breakfast was a huge bonus. There's nothing I'd improve."
"Great check in, concierge help, housekeeping and good dining options. Waling downtown and the waterfront was a bit of a hike but not an issue as the hotel and staff was well worth it"
"The Moxy was a great hotel choice for our stay in Halifax. The amenities were clean. Service was wonderful. It is a bit far from the waterfront area if someone is elderly but it is definitely walkable or a short 5 min Uber drive. Free coffee and tea daily was a nice touch. We loved the stash closet with extra towels, facecloths, toothpaste, etc. There is a nice patio you can relax on after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely recommend! "
Cozy on Connaught. Central apartment in Halifax - very walkable!
10/10 Excellent
"First, the apartment was in a very convenient part of Halifax for us to be able to enjoy a bunch of activities in downtown Halifax and beyond without having to drive too far or get into complicated traffic. Access to food stores and trendy little restaurants was great, a very pleasant old neighborhood to spend time in during the summer. For our purposes, the apartment was perfect, we were able to prepare meals there (mostly breakfasts) but all the kitchen tools and appliances were there. The shower was nicely laid out and worked well. The bed was roomy and comfortable. The atmosphere was very quiet, no street sounds at all. Parking was good. Some very minor "findings": finding regular cable channels on the TV wasn't achievable but a minor point, likely more related to our low level of understanding of some TV technology, and it should be made clear that access to the little driveway is only off Connaught coming one way, which makes it difficult to find the house once in the neighborhood, especially on a dark and rainy night after just getting off the flight.Overall, excellent property for those gone all day and needing a good base to get back to. Very clean. The host was helpful to all questions. We would definitely stay there again on a future return"
