"We really enjoyed our time in our static bus. The views of the mountain were superb, and it was nice to be able to walk some way up the side of it, to about 150 m. I could have gone higher if I was suitably equipped. The bus itself was well equipped, though the kettle took a long time to boil. We planned our hot drinks well in advance. Linda was very helpful and supplied a bowl to do the dishes as there was no stopper in the sink. The toilets and showers were close by and worked very well. Great location close to the highway with good views over the bay towards Reykjavik."

"Location was very close to the main highway 1 and close to water views. Rooms and bathrooms were fairly small but had what we needed including end tables (not common in all hotels here). We had to get used to the sulfur aroma from the hot water, but it was plentiful and smell dissipated fairly quickly. Drinking water was provided in bottles and could be refilled in the main office/breakfast area. Outdoor hot tub was wonderful. We did not try the breakfast."

"amazing hotel, great location and very good facilities overall. only one minor complaint is that expresso coffee and cappuccino wasn’t included in the 30$ breakfast. we paid extra for that. the hot tub and sauna were really good."
