"The location was great, right in the middle of the promenade. Parking was tricky but if you can remember to park in the P2 zone where it’s cheaper by the hour and free overnight. We found a spot two streets over. The room was great and exactly how it was described."

"Definitely a little outdated from when the pictures were taken. Simple hostel. They won’t tell you until you wait until it opens that you need to pay for the breakfast. (It looked like a complimentary buffet.) Showers and sinks needed cleaning, but the linen was clean and worked just fine for a night stay. Good location though!"

"Overall we were very happy with the stay. Highlights were the central location, welcoming/helpful staff and the good sized room. Property is close to all the attractions and transport. We were offered welcome drinks including wines and some light breakfast/coffee on the day of our departure. Staff helped to make reservations for tours/transfers. The room was nice but a bit on the small side, completely usable though. The hotel is walking distance to a lot downtown Reykjavik landmarks, shopping, and museums. "Overall the hotel is very nice and in a good location. We enjoyed the Beer Garden after check in for a yummy burger and nice cocktail. As far as the room the size was adequate and the bed comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and was plenty hot. On the downside the shower was way too small and there was a tub but I can’t imagine many people use it. The space would be better utilized with a larger shower. Also, only one window opened in the room and there was only a down comforter so I was very hot all night. Keeping in mind we stayed in early September I feel like it could get even warmer in the Summer months."
